LENT! LENT!! LENT!!!
Tuesday 23rd February, 2021
Scripture: Exodus 32 : 7 - 14
The Lord God said to Moses" Go down, for your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves"
These are the people God himself sent Moses to go and bring out of Egypt. Now because of sin,God is saying they are the people of Moses. That is how sin separate us from God. Because of sin, they are no longer God's own Children.
God wanted to wipe out the entire people of Israel because of sin but Moses intercede on their behalf and God relented from the desire he wanted to bring upon them.
Christians should always pray for others and try not be selfish and say me me.
Finally Moses reminded God about the promises he had with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God never forgets or falter in his promises to us and he is willing to do his part left with you to do yours and his love will be complete for you.
1. Pray to God and thank him for his great mercy he has shown you.
2. Pray to God so that his grace will be suffering for you.
3. Pray to God to draw you nearer to himself.
4. Pray for the strength to fulfill your part of the promise.
5. Pray for others, the sick, drank, everyone that comes to your mind.

WEEK 2
22nd February, 2021
Scripture: Ezra 8 : 15 - 23
Ezra proclaimed fast at the river that runs to Ahava for three days. That they might humble themselves before God, to seek from him a safe journey for themselves and their children and all their goods. Ezra had told the king earlier that "The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him".
Ezra and his men fasted and implored God for this, and God listened to them.
This morning if you will humble yourself and trust God to handle your situation for you, he will listen to you like he did to Ezra and his men.
Begin to pray by
1. Thanking God for his goodness and promises.
2. Confess all your sins for forgiveness.
3. Call on the Holy Spirit to take absolute control of your life and situation.
4. Call on God to deliver you from your situation.
5. Call on God and tell him he is your only hope and none can save you except him alone.

19th February 2021 Day 3
Reading Esther 3 : 8 to Chapter 4 : 1-17
Haman' s hatred to Mordechai and the Jews grew to the extent of Haman paying 10, 000 talent of silver into the king's treasury to have the seal of the king which will enable Haman issue instructions to all province of the land.
Mordechai heard this and complain to Esther who also instituted three days fasting for all Jews in the Land. After the three days fast, the Jews had their deliverance. Therefore as you fast and pray,
1. Any one who has placed a price on your head, you pay it with the blood of Jesus
2. May the spirit of the Lord take absolute control of your life and take full charge of this battle.
3. Any one who has plans of executing you and your family, may they receive equal measure of their plans
4. May this fast bring total deliverance to you and your family.
5. May heavens open for you as you fast today.

Today marks the second day in lent. This is a period we limit intake of food and other luxurious things and humble ourselves before the Lord. It is a period we reflect on our weakness and pray for forgiveness and strength from God.

As we celebrate valentine day today, let us reflect on the unfailing love of God for mankind. God sacrificed his only son for us sinners. His son died for sinners like you and I. How can a righteous die for a sinner? But Jesus does it to redeem us from the wrath and punishment to come. Remember, it is not about s*x and unhealthy celebrations. Reflect on the Love of God. Happy Valentine Day to you all! !!!
