Introducing the Dunwell Family — the genealogy of Rev. Joseph Rhodes Dunwell, the first missionary of the Methodist Church in Ghana.

During their visit to Ghana, the Dunwell family could not miss the opportunity to visit Dunwell Society, a society that proudly bears the name of one of their family members and is home to the only Dunwell monument in the form of a statue, erected in his remembrance.

It was a remarkable encounter between family, faith, history, and heritage—a beautiful connection between the roots of Methodism and its enduring legacy in Ghana.
