Dear Okristoni,
Stop Fighting for the Pulpit 🎤 —Take the Gospel to the Marketplace!
We were not called only to preach within the four walls of the chapel. The marketplace is one of the greatest platforms for spreading the Gospel.
The Bible says at 2 Corinthians 5:20, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors.” An ambassador is sent out to represent his country. In the same way, every Christian is sent into the workplace, school, business, community, and society to represent Christ.
We must stop measuring ministry only by who holds the microphone or stands behind the pulpit. Your workplace can be your pulpit, your business can be your mission field, and your character can be your sermon.
The world needs to see Christ through our integrity, excellence, compassion, honesty, and love.
The chapel equips us, but the marketplace is where we are sent.
The microphone is not the mission. People are.
Stop fighting for the pulpit microphone. Take Christ to the marketplace. Let’s GO!

The Bompata Area Youth Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, as part of the National Sports and Evangelism Day, successfully organised a vibrant Sports Fiesta⚽ on Monday, 6th April 2026 at Paa Joe Park, KNUST.

The event commenced at 8:00am and brought together 14 districts alongside PENSA, making a total of 15 participating groups. The program recorded a massive attendance of approximately 900 people, with the presence of some District Ministers who came to support and cheer the youth.

The day featured exciting sporting activities, including ⚽ soccer, 🏓 table tennis, 🏆 athletics, and volleyball, fostering unity, teamwork, and healthy competition. At the end of the competition, Anwomaso District, the defending champions, emerged victorious and retained the trophy🏆🏆 .

A major highlight of the event was the salvation of a young man who gave his life to Christ, affirming the evangelistic purpose of the gathering.

Despite a brief rainfall towards the close of the program, activities continued successfully, and the event came to an end at around 5:00pm.

Appreciation:
Sincere appreciation goes to the Area Head, Aps. Victor Kwasi Asamoah, the Area Youth Leader, Pastor Joel Essel, all District Ministers, the Planning Committee, the Media Team, officiating officials, as well as District and Local Executives, for their immense support and contributions to the success of the program.

To God be the glory for a successful and impactful event.
