_CONSIDER YOUR HABITS_

A habit can be referred to anything you often do even without intending to do it. It is something you consciously or unconsciously do. It is something you often you do on a regular basis. They are often insignificant but have the power over the future whether good or bad. Good habits lead to consistent success while bad habits leads to consistent failure. Christ in his days on earth had many good habits but I would like to highlight on one.

Let's read
Luke 4:16
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, *as his custom was,* he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.* KJV

Christ had a habit of regularly going to church. He was present among the congregants to worship the father regularly. This helped him fulfilled his ministry in several ways. This gave him the platform to heal the sick, cast out demonds, teach and preach to many. This habit made him strong in his call as well as strengthen the life of others.

Good habits such as daily reading of the Bible, observing a quite time everyday, praying everyday, reading the relevant Christian material, listening to wholesome music, regular fasting and attending church are highly recommended. This appears a simple formulae but it goes a long way to build our Christian life. When such good habits and many others are ignored our Christian life becomes a struggle.

Beloved, Good habits are difficult to form but easy to live with while bad habits are easy to form but difficult to live with. My dear, what are the habits you are cultivating today? Will it have a positive or negative impact on the future? Let's strive to do away with any identified negative habits and replace them with a good one for a better future.

VIRGINITY VS S*XUAL PURITY

I made the decision to remain a virgin from my childhood and that no matter what happened I vowed to keep my virginity.

Growing up, I got involved in several impure acts but I bothered less since I was able to keep my virginity INTACT, I was more concerned with remaining a virgin and not being s*xually pure, technically I was a virgin but s*xually DEFILED!

I struggled with remaining pure, from what I saw in the media to what I watched in the movies, everything around me was enough to keep me impure. I became curious about po*******hy, s*x and its pleasure, my mind was filled with lust, I wanted to have a taste and this dragged me into po*******hy and ma********on but technically I was a VIRGIN.

I got involved in several ungodly relationships but I protected the H***N with all I had yet I was not s*xually pure!

It cost me my relationship with GOD and I struggled to be free from the chains of addiction, I remained bound until MERCY said NO.

Virginity they say is the pride of a woman and this is why godly parents wish to raise daughters who can remain virgins until marriage so they can proudly say I trained her well but is it enough to remain a virgin yet impure?

We raise the flags of virginity but yet we struggle with secret sins of immorality, we struggle with po*******hy and musturbation, we still lust in our hearts, if the world claps for us for remaining virgins can God also smile at us for remaining pure?

PURITY is a different fight, virginity alone does not define purity, purity is above keeping the H***N intact, stopping the PE*******ON, not being involved in the S*X. We capitalize on the s*x but it is more than abstaining from s*x but from immoral acts!

When they ask virgins to stand up you bodly stand raising your hands for the congregation to see but yet in the dark you let him hold you tightly, grab your ass, run his fingers through your va**na so technically you are still a virgin!

You stop him from pe*******on but you go naked for him, let him touch everywhere, suck everything,oral s*x you have done, a**l s*x you have done but you remained a virgin, technically you are a virgin but you are defiled!

You are a s*xual purity advocate, so because you think it is about remaining a virgin, you condemn those who made the mistake, insult single mothers and raise your shoulder high yet you touch your self in the dark to satisfy your s*xual urges, technically you are still a virgin but defiled!

We have abused the presence of s*xual purity and replaced it with the presence of the h***n, we think virginity is the landmark of purity and the gateway to heaven, you may be positive to the virginity test yet lack God's commendation.

What of God's commendation, if we recieve all the praise for keeping our virginity can God commend us for remaining pure?

For your body is HIS temple and should remain clean and pure for him to abide, it is more than abstaining from s*x but abstaining from everything immoral and impure, abstaining from po*******hy, movies with naked adults, music videos proclaiming nudity.

It starts from keeping your mind free from lust and lustful desires, keeping your eyes off nudity and stopping the movement of that brother or sisters hand.

It starts from minding the books you read, the songs you listen to, the movies you watch and keeping your conversations pure, for if you say you abstain from s*x but discuss s*x it is like adding fuel to the fire you are trying to quench!

Let us fight with all we have, the fight of purity starts from the mind, putting on the whole armor of God, wearing the helmet of salvation, standing on guard ready to conquer those desires as they try to lead us into temptation, leaving every toxic relationship and fighting for our position as SONS OF GOD!

This is a fight, a fight from the mind, with studying the word and travailing on our knees, for if we decide to stand with s*xual purity we must be ready to fight for purity!

If you are defiled already, just as MERCY said NO and God saved me from addiction and impurity, if you can open your heart asking God for help He is willing to save and redeem you right now❤

I remember an incident that happened in high (secondary) school. My school was invited for a spelling bee competition but this time it was basically for girls. The names of so many girls were enlisted on the list with my name included but I never wanted it because at that time I felt I was not that good at spelling.

Trainings and extra lessons began, I attended all of it and no doubt my spelling ability improved in that season.

Something happened before the day of the competition. The girl who we know as “most intelligent” in my school as at then walked up to me and said “It will be nice you stay home tomorrow, you will bring disgrace to our school”.

These words pierced me and somehow I agreed that she was right. The next day, which was the day of the competition, I told mom that I wouldn't want to go to school, cos I feel sick. She permitted.

Unfortunately, my principal called her and asked her of my where about, she told him I feel sick, but he begged and insisted that she let me come to school, I did.

As soon as I stepped into school, I found all the teachers, all the girls, the bus drivers and so many other people expecting and waiting for me by the gate. Then, I walked up to my principal and these were the words he said that I will never forget. He said, WHY DELAY US, DON'T YOU KNOW ITS YOU WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR?

While I sat back to remember this story, I knew that question wasn't just for me but also for someone scrolling tonight, reading this…

I ask you, WHY DELAY US, DON'T YOU KNOW IT IS YOU WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR?

Why keep creations on delay, why do you keep generations on suspense?

Why ask them to keep waiting, when you are not working?

Why leave their questions unanswered?

DON'T YOU KNOW ITS YOU WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR?

Why blame the president, when you know the Lord has given you the mountain of government as your assignment?

Why condemn those who go naked on the mountain of entertainment and art, when you have refused to play your part in the revival?

Or don't you know, IT IS YOU WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR?

The devil might lie to you that you are not needed in this mission because of your weaknesses but listen to me. IN THIS KINGDOM, WOUNDED SOLDIERS ARE NOT CAST AWAY THEY ARE HEALED AND THEIR SCARS ARE TRANSFORMED TO STARS; THEIR MESS BECOMES THE MESSAGE. Don't fall for the devils lies.

So, I write to you today with so much burden in my heart, ARISE.

Creations has been calling; Generations have been waiting. Stop delaying, IT IS YOU WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR.
