PEMEM DIRECTOR PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON OKATAKYI KOMEH VIII, THE PARAMOUNT CHIEF OF KOMENDA TRADITIONAL AREA.

As part of activities marking the National Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) Week Celebration, the National Director of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) and National Coordinator of the Chieftaincy Ministry, Apostle Vincent Anane-Denteh, together with his wife, Mrs. Martha Anane-Denteh, paid a courtesy call on Okatakyi Komeh VIII, Omanhene of the Komenda Traditional Area, on Thursday, 18th June 2026.

The National Director was accompanied by the Elmina Area Head, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko; Pastor Joseph Yaw Ntiamoah, Komenda District Minister; Ps. Dr. Prince Augustine Ababio of the Essaman District, Elder Kwaku Kaakyire Asante and other Church leaders in the Komenda district.

The visit formed part of efforts by The Church of Pentecost to strengthen the cordial relationship between the Church and traditional authorities while promoting godly leadership within Ghanaian society.

Addressing the Omanhene and members of the Traditional Council, Apostle Vincent Anane-Denteh stated that the purpose of the visit was to share fellowship and further strengthen the longstanding relationship between the Church and traditional institutions. He noted that both the Church and the chieftaincy institution play critical roles in shaping society and promoting values that foster peace, development, and godliness.

Apostle Anane-Denteh commended Okatakyi Komeh VIII for his unwavering faith in God since ascending the throne and for his active commitment to the activities of The Church of Pentecost. He observed that the chief’s exemplary Christian lifestyle continues to inspire many both within the church and the traditional area.

He further emphasized the importance of acknowledging the God factor in all aspects of leadership and governance. According to him, no meaningful achievement can be accomplished without God, for He is the One who establishes kings and grants authority to leaders. He therefore encouraged the Omanhene and his elders to continue building their faith in God and to serve as role models whose lives would influence others to seek and trust in God.

The National Chieftaincy Ministry Coordinator also reiterated the Church’s commitment to supporting traditional leaders through prayer, counsel, and fellowship, stressing that the fear of God remains the foundation of effective and transformational leadership.

In response, Okatakyi Komeh VIII, who also serves as an Elder of The Church of Pentecost in the Komenda District, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the visit. He indicated that the gesture demonstrated the Church’s concern and commitment to the welfare of traditional leaders and the advancement of godly governance.

The Omanhene expressed joy over the passion consistently demonstrated by the leadership of The Church of Pentecost in ensuring that chiefs and traditional rulers govern with the fear of God. He assured the delegation that he, together with the Nananom of the Komenda Traditional Council, would remain steadfast in their faith and continue to govern their people with reverence for God, integrity, and humility.

During the interaction, Apostle Vincent Anane-Denteh extended an invitation to the Omanhene and the Nananom to participate in the upcoming Royals Conference scheduled to take place from 8th to 10th July 2026 at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh. He noted that the conference would provide a unique platform for traditional rulers and royals to receive spiritual encouragement and leadership insights for effective governance.

As a gesture of support and encouragement, Apostle Anane-Denteh donated three sets of his authored books on royalty and chieftaincy to the Omanhene and the Traditional Council. He explained that the books were intended to serve as valuable guides and reference materials to assist them in providing effective, God-centred leadership to their people.

The visit ended in a spirit of prayer, fellowship and mutual appreciation, reaffirming the strong partnership between The Church of Pentecost and the traditional leadership of the Komenda Traditional Area in promoting godliness, peace, and societal transformation.
