On Sunday 20th September, 2026 the District Women's Group Executive of Voice of the Lord Evangelical Church- Amanfro District climaxed its 4 day 'Zone B' revival at Adukrom Assembly of the church.

The District Women's Leader, Deaconess Mercy Owusu, in her sermon, urged the women to don their evangelism boots and spread the Good News as the Samaritan woman once did.

It was all about Jesus.

CELESTIAL CALL: VOICE OF THE LORD EVANGELICAL CHURCH HONOURS THEIR FORMER CHAIRMAN, APOSTLE CLEMENT QUAICOE (RTD.)

The Koforidua South District in the Koforidua Area of VOICE OF THE LORD EVANGELICAL CHURCH (VOLEC), hosted the pre-burial service and funeral of their Former Chairman, Apostle Clement Quaicoo (Rtd.) on Saturday, 15th August, 2026 at the Forecourt of the Adweso Assembly of the church in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The event drew a substantial assembly of both retired and active ministers along with their spouses, officers, members, family, friends, and well-wishers from the Koforidua Area, various regions of Ghana, and beyond, illustrating the extensive influence of his life and ministry.

The service was chaired by Apostle Charles Nartey, Chairman of Voice of the Lord Evangelical Church (VOLEC).

The service included a presentation of the late Apostle's biography, which emphasized his extraordinary journey of faith, devoted pastoral ministry, and significant contributions to the Church. Heartfelt tributes from his widow, children, and the General Council of the Church honored his exemplary Christian life, humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the work of God.

On Thursday, July 9th, 2026, a ONE-WEEK OBSERVANCE was conducted to commemorate the LATE APOSTLE CLEMENT QUAICOE (RTD), the former Chairman of the VOICE OF THE LORD EVANGELICAL CHURCH. (VOLEC).

This event took place at the Durbar Grounds in Kasoa-Ofankor, located within the Awutu Senya East Municipal District of the Central Region of Ghana.

The Chairman of the Church, Apostle Charles Nartey, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Vida Nartey, as well as numerous members of the National Executive Council, the Ministerial and Prophetic Board, Ministers and their Spouses, National Women's Executives, National Youth Ministry Executives, and delegates from various districts, attended the occasion.

Apostle Alfred Addo (Koforidua Area Head of the church) and a contemporary of the late Chairman Quaicoe in ministerial work, delivered a brief exhortation to console the widow - Mrs. Christiana Quaicoe, her children, the extended family, sympathizers and the entire VOLEC fraternity.

‎On Saturday, 27th June 2026, the Methodist Park at Agona Duakwa was filled with solemn reflection as a pre- burial and memorial service was held in honor of the late Pastor James Ewusi.

‎Family, friends, ministers and their spouses and members of VOICE OF THE LORD EVANGELICAL CHURCH ( VOLEC) gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of a faithful servant of God who devoted himself to the call of ministry with unwavering commitment and humility.
‎
‎In delivering a message of encouragement, the chairman of the church, Apostle Charles Nartey, presented an uplifting sermon centered on the theme : "The Temporality of Human Existence."
‎
‎In a succinct address, Apostle Charles Nartey expressed appreciation to the family for the invaluable gift of a devoted minister to the Church. He characterized Pastor James Ewusi as an exemplary individual, a servant committed to honoring His Master, who diligently and with integrity served the church.
‎
‎Drawing insight from 2 Corinthians 5:1-4 Apostle Charles Nartey elucidated that, Apostle Paul employs a compelling architectural metaphor, likening our fragile, mortal bodies to a temporary "tent" while contrasting them with our future resurrection bodies, which he describes as a permanent "building from God."

‎He urged believers to stop over-investing in the fragile, mortal bodies "tent" and start focusing more on our eternal home.

District Pastor Samuel Young Appiah and his Wife Mrs. Carolyn Pearl Young Appiah, on Sunday 21st June, 2026, joined other ministers and their wives for the naming ceremony in
honor of the child of the Nkurakan District Pastor and his wife- Pastor Fred Twum and Mrs. Anabel Twum.

The beautiful naming ceremony was held at
VOICE OF THE LORD EVANGELICAL CHURCH, Nkurakan Assembly in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The child was named after the Late Apostle Samuel Young Appiah (Founder of Voice of the church Evangelical Church).

The General Secretary of the church Apostle Eric Appiah and his wife Mrs. Adelaide Appiah graced the ceremony.

Apostle Alfred Addo (Koforidua Area Head) was represented by his wife Deaconess Janet Addo.

District Pastors John and Mrs. Lydia Adjepong of Koforidua North District, Robert and Mrs. Millicent Amoatey of Koforidua Ada Assembly, Daniel Nartey of Nankese also graced the ceremony.

Pastors Ebenezer Otiboe of Akorabo Assembly, Patrick Amu of Jumapo Assembly, Emanuel Adega of Madina Assembly, Daniel Hackmajor of Koforidua Adweso Assembly, Eric Opata of Klo Agogo Assembly, Collins and Mrs Hilda Ameyaw of Ada Assembly and Benjamin Amoatey of Koforidua Magazine Assembly were also present.
