HOPE FOR TODAY--DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY 11TH NOVEMBER, 2025

*DON'T LOSE HIS PRESENCE*

*1 Samuel 28:15, NLT*

*_“Why have you disturbed me by calling me back?” Samuel asked Saul. “Because I am in deep trouble,” Saul replied. “The Philistines are at war with me, and God has left me and won’t reply by prophets or dreams. So I have called for you to tell me what to do.”"_*

Saul's troubles began when he lost the presence of God, and now he thought the only way out was to patronise the services of a medium. Imagine the king of Israel bringing himself so low to that level!

The lesson for us here is that we must endeavour to abide in the presence of God forever. No matter the circumstances in which we find ourselves, we must make the word of God the standard for our lives and walk according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Dearly beloved, seek the face of God all the time and His presence will forever be with you.

_"If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."_ (Jeremiah 29:13, NLT)

I abide in the presence of God as I seek Him with my whole heart.

Heavenly Father, help me to abide in your presence forever, in Jesus' name.
