Theme of the Month: By Grace, We Carry Power!
The world often teaches us that power is the result of self-sufficiency, relentless hustle, and an unblemished track record.
We are told to hide our flaws and project only our strengths. However, the divine economy operates on a completely different frequency.
This month, we lean into a paradoxical and liberating truth: Our greatest empowerment doesn’t come from our perfection, but through God’s presence in our imperfection.
The Scriptural Foundation
Our theme is anchored in 2 Corinthians 12:9
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me
To "carry power" by grace isn't about manifesting a temporary burst of energy; it’s about becoming a vessel for something eternal.
1. Grace as the Fuel: Grace is often defined as "unmerited favor," but in this context, it is also enabling strength. It is the bridge between our human limitation and God’s limitless capability.
2. Weakness as the Platform: We often view our struggles as obstacles to being used by God. Paul’s revelation suggests that our weaknesses are actually the "landing strips" for divine power. When we reach the end of ourselves, we find the beginning of His Spirit.
3. Power as the Result : This isn't a power that seeks to dominate others, but a power that overcomes sin, endures hardship, and transforms lives.
It is the power that raised Christ from the dead, now living within us.
How We Carry This Power Daily.
Walking in this theme requires a shift in perspective. Here is how we manifest "Power by Grace" in our lives:
1. Authentic Vulnerability: We stop pretending to have it all together. By admitting where we are weak, we invite the "sufficiency" of God to fill the gaps.
2. Confident Dependence : We move from "I can't do this" to "I can't, but He can." This isn't passivity; it’s partnered activity with the Holy Spirit.
3. Resilience in Trials: When pressure mounts, we don't buckle. We remember that the grace assigned to us is exactly equal to the weight of the season we are in.
The Monthly Declaration
"I am not defined by my limitations, but by the Grace that sustains me. I do not walk in my own strength, but I carry the heavy-weight power of God.
Where I am weak, He is strong. This month, I will see His power made perfect in my life."
Let this be the month you stop apologizing for being human and start marveling at being a temple for the Most High. You are not just getting by; you are a carrier of Divine Authority.
By Grace, you carry power.!!!
