Theme of the Month: By Grace, We Carry Power!

The world often teaches us that power is the result of self-sufficiency, relentless hustle, and an unblemished track record.

We are told to hide our flaws and project only our strengths. However, the divine economy operates on a completely different frequency.

This month, we lean into a paradoxical and liberating truth: Our greatest empowerment doesn’t come from our perfection, but through God’s presence in our imperfection.

The Scriptural Foundation
Our theme is anchored in 2 Corinthians 12:9
"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me

To "carry power" by grace isn't about manifesting a temporary burst of energy; it’s about becoming a vessel for something eternal.

1. Grace as the Fuel: Grace is often defined as "unmerited favor," but in this context, it is also enabling strength. It is the bridge between our human limitation and God’s limitless capability.

2. Weakness as the Platform: We often view our struggles as obstacles to being used by God. Paul’s revelation suggests that our weaknesses are actually the "landing strips" for divine power. When we reach the end of ourselves, we find the beginning of His Spirit.

3. Power as the Result : This isn't a power that seeks to dominate others, but a power that overcomes sin, endures hardship, and transforms lives.
It is the power that raised Christ from the dead, now living within us.

How We Carry This Power Daily.
Walking in this theme requires a shift in perspective. Here is how we manifest "Power by Grace" in our lives:
1. Authentic Vulnerability: We stop pretending to have it all together. By admitting where we are weak, we invite the "sufficiency" of God to fill the gaps.

2. Confident Dependence : We move from "I can't do this" to "I can't, but He can." This isn't passivity; it’s partnered activity with the Holy Spirit.

3. Resilience in Trials: When pressure mounts, we don't buckle. We remember that the grace assigned to us is exactly equal to the weight of the season we are in.

The Monthly Declaration
"I am not defined by my limitations, but by the Grace that sustains me. I do not walk in my own strength, but I carry the heavy-weight power of God.

Where I am weak, He is strong. This month, I will see His power made perfect in my life."

Let this be the month you stop apologizing for being human and start marveling at being a temple for the Most High. You are not just getting by; you are a carrier of Divine Authority.

By Grace, you carry power.!!!

THEME FOR THE MONTH: The Unleashed Man – The Holy Ghost Man

Anchor Scripture: Acts 1:8

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

1. Understanding Acts 1:8 — The Foundation of the Unleashed Man

Acts 1:8 is not just a promise.it is a divine blueprint for the believer’s life. Before Jesus ascended, He did not give His disciples strategies, budgets, or structures. He gave them POWER.

Key Revelations in Acts 1:8

a) “You shall receive POWER…”
The word power here is from the Greek word dunamis—meaning explosive, supernatural ability.

👉 The unleashed man is not an ordinary man.
He is a man empowered beyond human limitation.
• Power to overcome sin
• Power to live holy
• Power to influence systems
• Power to manifest spiritual gifts

Without the Holy Ghost, a believer is saved but limited.
With the Holy Ghost, a believer is activated and unleashed.

b) “When the Holy Spirit has come upon you…”
This speaks of divine enablement and encounter.

The Holy Ghost does not just dwell within—He comes upon for impact.

👉 The unleashed man is:
• Spirit-filled
• Spirit-led
• Spirit-empowered

This is what distinguishes a church member from a Holy Ghost man.

c) “You shall be WITNESSES…”
Not “you may be” but you SHALL be.

The proof of power is witnessing.

👉 The unleashed man cannot be silent:
• His life preaches
• His words convict
• His actions reflect Christ

He is a living evidence of Jesus Christ.

d) “To the ends of the earth…”
This shows scope and mission.

The Holy Ghost is not given for comfort alone but for global impact.

👉 The unleashed man:
• Thinks beyond himself
• Carries a kingdom mandate
• Is burdened for souls

2. Who is the Unleashed Man (The Holy Ghost Man)?

The unleashed man is:
• A man released from fear and limitation
• A man activated by the Holy Ghost
• A man burning with divine purpose
• A man sent to influence his generation

This is exactly what happened in Acts 2.when the Holy Ghost came, ordinary men became extraordinary vessels.
• Peter moved from denial to bold preaching
• The disciples moved from hiding to public impact

👉 That is what it means to be UNLEASHED.

3. The Rationale Behind This Theme (Linked to The Church of Pentecost Vision)

The Church of Pentecost has consistently emphasized:

“Possessing the Nations”raising believers to transform every sphere of society.

How Acts 1:8 connects to this vision:

a) Power precedes Possession
You cannot possess nations without spiritual power.
• Influence in education
• Impact in governance
• Transformation in families

👉 All require the Holy Ghost empowerment.

b) Witnessing is Nation Possession
“Possessing the nations” is not political ;it is spiritual and transformational.

When Spirit-filled believers enter:
• Schools
• Markets
• Offices
• Communities

They carry God’s presence and influence change.

c) The Unleashed Man is the Agent of Change
The Church is not just building structures.it is raising men and women of fire.

👉 The Holy Ghost man becomes:
• A light in darkness
• A solution provider
• A kingdom ambassador

d) From Church-Centered to Impact-Centered Christianity
Acts 1:8 moves us from:
• Sitting → Sending
• Receiving → Releasing
• Gathering → Going

This aligns perfectly with the Church of Pentecost’s emphasis on:
👉 “Equipping the saints for ministry”

4. Practical Implications for Members

To become the Unleashed Man (Holy Ghost Man):

1. Desire the infilling of the Holy Ghost
• Luke 11:13 – God gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask

2. Live a consecrated life
• The Holy Ghost flows through clean vessels

3. Engage in witnessing
• Start from your “Jerusalem” (your immediate environment)

4. Yield daily to the Spirit
• The unleashed life is sustained by continuous fellowship

5. Conclusion: The Call to Be Unleashed

Acts 1:8 is a call to:
• Rise above mediocrity
• Carry divine power
• Impact your world

👉 The Church of Pentecost is not raising ordinary believers .It is raising Holy Ghost men and women who will transform nations.
