KPANDAI NEW TOWN DISTRICT WOMEN’S MINISTRY EXTENDS CHRISTLIKE LOVE WITH WHEELCHAIR DONATION

On Wednesday, 31st December 2025, the Women’s Ministry of the Church of Pentecost, Kpandai New Town District, demonstrated practical Christian compassion by donating a wheelchair to a person with disability at Mile 70 Assembly, Kpandai New Town.

The gesture was aimed at aiding her mobility and enhancing her quality of life and livelihood. In addition to the wheelchair, the ministry also presented a cash donation to further support her immediate needs.

The presentation was graced by the presence of the District Pastor, Overseer Joel Kwesi Baidoo, and his wife, Mrs. Ethel Baidoo. Also present were the District Women’s Leader, Deaconess Emelia Sena Doyi, other Deaconesses, and members of the Local Assembly at Mile 70, who joined in celebrating this act of love and service.

This benevolent act reflects the Church’s commitment to living out the love of Christ by caring for the vulnerable and supporting those in need within the community.

🙏 WORKPLACE CHAPLAINCY IN ACTION 🙌

By the grace of God, the Church of Pentecost - Kpandai New Town District continues to make meaningful strides in workplace evangelism through our Workplace Chaplaincy Initiative.

Every week, staff and management of "God is My Witness Fashion Shop" gather joyfully for a time of devotion, prayer, and the teaching of God's Word. Led by the District Chaplaincy team, these sessions have become a source of spiritual nourishment and professional inspiration, deepening faith and enhancing work ethics among all present.

On Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, the devotion took a special turn as the District Minister, Rev. Joel Kwesi Baidoo, together with the District Chaplaincy Coordinator, Deacon Emmanuel Torsu, joined the team in a spirit-filled time of fellowship and encouragement.

Madam Doris and her dedicated staff continue to express heartfelt gratitude for this spiritual partnership, as they experience transformation not just in their hearts, but in the excellence of their service.

Gospel Sunday at Alima Akura!

The atmosphere was vibrant at Alima Akura Assembly as the District Minister, Rev. Joel Kwesi Baidoo joined the budding new congregation for a powerful Gospel Sunday service.

Alima Akura Assembly, established just last year in the heart of Alima Akura—a village nestled within the Nkanchina township about an hour from Kpandai—welcomed the pastor with joy and anticipation.

The District Minister delivered a stirring message, helping the congregation grasp the depth of their calling in Christ and encouraging them to walk in it daily. His visit was not only an inspiration but a strong affirmation of the church’s growing presence and impact in the area.

The Women’s Ministry of Kpandai New Town District Embarks on Outreach to Maternity Wards

Saturday, 24th May 2025 – Kpandai

The Women’s Ministry of the Church of Pentecost, Kpandai New Town District, undertook a compassionate outreach to the maternity wards of Kpandai's two major hospitals — the Kpandai District Hospital and ECG Hospital.

Leading the delegation were the District Minister, Rev. Joel Kwesi Baidoo , and his wife, Mrs. Ethelisa Ayeyi Baidoo. They were joined by the District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Emelia Doyi Sena , along with several district and local executives, as well as other committed members of the ministry.

As part of the outreach, the team presented assorted items to both patients and nurses on duty, demonstrating Christian love through practical support and encouragement.

The initiative was warmly received by hospital staff and beneficiaries, marking another impactful effort by the Women’s Ministry to serve the community in love.

SPECIAL MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION WITH THE AGED AND WIDOWS

The Church of Pentecost – Kpandai New Town District (Kete Krachi Area) held its first-ever Mother’s Day celebration with the aged and widows on Sunday, May 11, 2025 — a touching event filled with love, faith, and gratitude.

Hosted by District Minister Joel Kwesi Baidoo and his wife, Ethelisa Ayeyi Baidoo, with support from Ovr. Isaac Adjei Baffour and his wife from Buya District, the event featured:
✨ An inspiring exhortation
🙏 A powerful prayer session
🍽️ A joyous feast
💬 A health talk on Healthy Aging by Cynthia Okumasi
💖 Heartfelt testimonies from the elderly
🎁 Gift presentations to all aged and widowed attendees

The Women's Ministry of the Church of Pentecost Kpandai New Town District embarked on an outreach to the Andrew Foster Memorial School for the Deaf in Kpandai in the Northern Region of Ghana on the 18th December 2024.

With the support of the District Minister and wife, Rev. Joel Kwesi Baidoo and Mrs. Ethelisa Ayeyi Baidoo, the Women's ministry, led by Dcns. Emelia Sena Doyi, donated assorted items to support the livelihood of the children in the school.
