Father’s Day Reflections with Mama Baako – 15/06/2025 Service Recap
Yesterday’s Father’s Day sermon was spirit-filled and thought-provoking as Mama Baako shared a timely word reminding us of the role and responsibility of godly men in our homes and society.
Her message began with a powerful truth:
👉🏾 “When a person receives you well, you reciprocate.”
Love and respect are two-way streets. When you’re received with kindness and honor, your natural response should be to give the same.
She highlighted key scriptures to guide our men:
📖 Psalm 55:17 – “Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.”
— Men are called to be prayerful. A praying man builds a stable family and hears from God consistently.
📖 Colossians 4:2 – “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”
— Be watchful in prayer, discerning in decisions, and always thankful. Leadership begins on your knees.
📖 Ephesians 5:25-33 – “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…”
— She challenged our men to treat their wives with deep love and sacrifice, not just in words but in consistent action.
📖 1 Peter 3:7 – “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect…”
— Be considerate, knowing your wife is your partner in destiny. Respect creates an atmosphere for peace and progress.
Key Takeaways to Our Men:
✅ Be watchful in the Spirit
✅ Be considerate in your actions
✅ Treat your wife with respect and honor
To all fathers and future fathers—thank you for standing strong. May God strengthen you to lead with love, wisdom, and grace. 🙏🏾❤️
