PIWC-HO EMPOWERS LEADERS AND CHURCH WORKERS FOR STRATEGIC MINISTRY AT 2-DAY RETREAT
The Pentecost International Worship Centre, Ho (PIWC-Ho) has successfully hosted its 2026 Officers and Workers Orientation and Prayer Retreat to align local leadership with Phase 2 of The Church of Pentecost’s “Possessing the Nations” agenda (Vision 2028).
Held on September 28 and 29 at the PIWC Main Auditorium, the two-night event brought together presbyters, ministry and committee leaders, and church workers to shift from routine administrative duties toward high-impact, strategic leadership.
Resident Minister Ps. Alex Nsiah opened the sessions by reaffirming the distinct mandate of the Pentecost International Worship Centre. He explained that PIWC is an intentionally structured, multi-cultural assembly tailored to reach expatriates, students, corporate executives, and contemporary intellectuals.
To remain effective, he urged leaders to move beyond traditional approaches and adopt relationship-based and professional-network evangelism that meets the needs of a modern congregation.
The retreat also established clear expectations for service culture and operational discipline. Leaders were directed to enforce strict punctuality, eliminate crowded schedules, and run seamless services with active timers and digital media projections.
Ps. Nsiah emphasized pairing musical and technical excellence with deep spiritual devotion, while encouraging officers to build an open, supportive church environment where young people and intellectuals can freely share personal struggles and seek guidance
Turning to organizational strength, the presentations challenged ministry and committee heads to run their teams with accountability and intention.
Interspersed with sessions of intercessory prayer for church leadership and future projects, the retreat concluded with a unified commitment from all participants to serve with excellence.
To conclude the retreat, the leaders and workers were made to set objectives for changes they intend making in their respective ministries in the final quarter of the year.
Armed with practical directives and renewed spiritual energy, the leadership of PIWC-Ho is now fully prepared to drive meaningful transformation across the church and the broader community.
