MY REFLECTIONS THIS MORNING
Some questions came!
Do I know the most famous person in the 1600s? I know I don't know, then I asked myself, what about the most famous person in the 1700s and the 1800s; same answer as above. Then I realized I do not even know the most famous one in the 1900s and even if I can name one, that will be debatable.
Not even the most famous in my hometown SAMPA for the last 100 years.
Soon, all that I own and my body self, would have vanished into thin air just like that. Give it just a hundred years and there will be no remembrance of any. Dear YOU, where is that dress you so loved and cherished at age 7? Perhaps even at age 18?
Then again, I realized that not all of the people in the town I live know me, I do not also know thousands of them. Aaaah, then the obvious came that the world may be around 7.753 billion (2020) and it's highly possible that not even the 0.753 of this population ever know I exist neither do I also know they exist.
And in the next 70 years I surely know I wouldn't be alive, it may be less than that; All what I may be boasting about today, and Pride, Selfishness, and the like wouldn't ever be thought of ever existing to the generation of the next hundred years let alone the next two hundred years.
Then happily I realized there is a name that remains resounding from generations to generations, the name JESUS, to which when I cling, my life shall be relevant.
I AM HUMBLED.
He has thought me never to be anxious because anxiety has nothing to offer mankind.
With JESUS, LET ME BE IN PEACE!
I can therefore not be forced to embrace the fading issues of life to the detriment of the PEACE I so require to enjoy this life at least to a good old age.
May GOD BLESS US ALL and GRANT US THE WISDOM to discern life from a different perspective and live in PEACE.
