The September edition of our Koinonia Feast dwelt on the theme "LIVING IN ANTICIPATION OF JESUS' COMING" with scripture references from
Philippians 3:20-21, 1 Peter 2:11-12, 1 John 3:1-3, 1 Corinthians 15:19-20.

Ministering to the Congregation during the Koinonia Service on Sunday 4th October was Pastor Enoch Amoah, the Resident Minister.

He began by emphasizing that we are citizens of heaven and strangers on this earth.

Gleaning inspiration from Hebrews 11:8-10, he said, though Abraham received the promised land, he still looked for the city whose architect and builder is God. Therefore, no blessings, honour and privileges on this earth can be compared with the glory of the City of God.

Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:19 warned that if our only hope was life on this earth we were to be pitied amongst all men.

He re-echoed the Certainty of Jesus' Coming, pointing to the fact that Angels announced it (Acts 1:11), Jesus himself promised it, (John 14:1-3), and the nature of God that all men would be saved (2 Peter 3: 8-9)

He charged the Congregation that in view of Jesus' imminent coming;
1. We should not enjoy the world full of fleeting pleasures. Don't enjoy sin. (Hebrews 11:24-25)
2. Live godly and holy life. (2 Tim 2: 21-22)
3. Keep watching and be vigilant. (Matthew 25:13)
4. Always give ourselves fully to the work of God. We are not just waiting, we are working and serving while we wait. (1 Cor 15:58)
5. Preach Christ every time! (Matthew 24:14)

In conclusion, Pastor Amoah encouraged the whole church to be actively involved in winning souls for the Lord. In doing so, we keep ourselves ready for the Lord's coming. The whole church then hit the streets of Assin Foso after close of Service.
