Avoid “Worldly Wisdom” in Tithing – Elder Jonathan Inkoom Urges Christians.

Elder Jonathan Inkoom has cautioned Christians, especially members of the Fawoade Assembly, against using what he describes as “worldly wisdom” to justify reducing or avoiding the payment of tithes. He observed that many believers often rely on personal reasoning and excuses when it is time to give, rather than adhering to biblical principles.

According to him, such justifications, though they may seem logical, weaken faith and undermine spiritual discipline. He stressed that tithing should be seen as an act of obedience and trust in God, not something determined by convenience or personal calculations.

Elder Inkoom urged Christians to remain faithful and sincere in their giving, noting that true commitment to God requires honesty and sacrifice. He encouraged believers to replace excuses with a deeper understanding of their faith and to recognize tithing as a vital expression of gratitude and dependence on God.

Use Time Wisely and Work Hard – Elder Samuel Odonkor Advises Fawoade Assembly

Elder Samuel Odonkor today visited the Fawoade Assembly, where he delivered a thought-provoking sermon during the Sunday Service, centred on the theme, “Time Management.”

Quoting from Ephesians 5:16, he urged the congregation to make the most of their time, emphasising that time, once lost, can never be regained. According to him, every moment must be used wisely and cautiously, as wasted time cannot be reclaimed.

Elder Odonkor explained that there is a designated time for every activity, stressing that working hours should not be misused, just as time meant for church and prayer should not be diverted to other purposes. He cautioned that mismanagement of time often leads to failure.

Addressing the youth in particular, he encouraged them to plan their time effectively to avoid shifting blame onto others for their shortcomings.

He concluded by advising members to combine prayer with hard work, noting that prayer alone is not enough to achieve success and the good life they aspire to live.
