TOPIC: *HUMILITY PAYS*

SCRIPTURE: *1Peter 5:6niv*
"Humble yourselves, therefore under GOD'S Mighty Hand, that HE may lift you up in due time."

*INSIGHT*
Our LORD JESUS CHRIST is the best example of humility. HE humbled Himself unto the FATHER and even unto death on the cross. GOD the FATHER witnessed this, resurrected HIM and gave Him a name which is above every name in Heaven, on earth and under the earth. King David humbled himself in service to his father Jesse and GOD chose and anointed him king over Israel. Moses humbled himself and was appointed by GOD to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. The same applies to Joshua, Gideon, Paul, Peter etc. All these people humbled themselves and GOD exalted them in due time. *Precious one, are you humble in all your ways? If you are humble then there is lifting up waiting for you. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

TOPIC: *DON'T GIVE UP ON PRAYER*

SCRIPTURE: *Luke 18:1niv*
"Then JESUS told HIS disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up."

*INSIGHT*
Prayer is soo essential to JESUS CHRIST that He related a parable to illustrate it. In this parable a widow received justice from a judge who neither feared GOD nor regarded human beings. The widow got justice because she never gave up after several rejections by the judge. With this parable JESUS CHRIST wants us to learn to be patient and wait for our reward when we pray. GOD our Heavenly FATHER wants to develop the virtue of patience and resilience in us(HIS children). *Precious one, do you feel like giving up a particular prayer request because it has not been answered? Be patient, receive the grace of GOD to wait and trust GOD for your answer. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

TOPIC: *GOD IS FIGHTING YOUR BATTLES*

SCRIPTURE: *2 Chronicles 20:17niv*
"You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow and the LORD will be with you."

*INSIGHT*
The above scripture teaches us that there are different battles to fight as a child of GOD but the good news is that it not every battles we should waist our time fighting. This was king Jehoshaphat who was threatened by Ammon, Moab and Mount seir. GOD gave him a strategy to bring worshippers to lead the king and his army to the battle field. When the worshippers began to praise and worship JEHOVAH, JEHOVAH turned the enemies against one another and they fought against themselves until they had destroyed themselves. *Precious one, you are strengthened to develop an attitude of worship and praise always so that GOD can fight your battles for you. As a child of GOD, your battles are easy because the battles are the LORD'S not yours. I pray for you that may the LORD of all Hosts turn all your enemies against one another until they destroy themselves in JESUS Mighty name. Amen. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

*INSIGHT*
The purpose of GOD is the unique design of GOD for our lives. GOD'S purpose varies from person to person, so whatever you are going through right now is designed to turn or work for your good as a child of GOD. Our Heavenly FATHER loves His children but not every child of GOD who loves GOD. The one who loves GOD is prompt to obey GOD and submits to HIS authority. These are the ones for whom all things work together for good. The children of GOD who are disobedient and don't submit to the authority of GOD will not have all things working together for good. *Precious one, as you are obedience to GOD and you submit to HIS authority, may all things work together for your good in JESUS Mighty name. TOPIC: *THE PEACE OF GOD*

SCRIPTURE: *Philippians 4:7niv*
"And the peace of GOD which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS."

*INSIGHT*
The solutions to everything in this world are provided by the WORD OF GOD. Let us consider the description of the peace of GOD. It transcends all understanding and has the capacity to guard our heart and our mind. According to the above scripture, there are two types peace that's the peace of this world and the peace of GOD. As children of GOD in CHRIST JESUS we can use the peace of GOD to judge our choices and decisions. If you make a decision and all of a sudden you lose the peace of GOD or you don't experience the peace of GOD in that decision, kindly change it because GOD is not with you. However, if you experience the peace of GOD in your heart and mind then it means GOD has sanctioned or approved your decision. Go ahead because GOD is with you. *Precious one, be mindful about this; if your decision makes you disturbed and lose peace in your heart and mind, GOD has not approved it or you want to go to a place all of a sudden you are disturbed about where you are going, kindly change your mind because GOD will not go with you. Let us be sensitive to the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

"And so we know and rely on the love GOD has for us. GOD is love. Whoever lives in love lives in GOD and GOD in them."

*INSIGHT*
It's one thing to read the WORD OF GOD and it's another thing to experience the WORD OF GOD. Apostle John believed the love of GOD because he had experience it by himself therefore he could boldly testify about it. He got to know the nature of GOD, that's "GOD is Love." He testifies that anyone who lives in love, lives in GOD ALMIGHTY and GOD ALMIGHTY in him. This has become a standard to measure who truly is a child of GOD. Any person who claims to be a child of GOD and lives in love is a true child of GOD. On the other hand anyone who claims to be a child of GOD but doesn't live in love is not a child of GOD. *Precious one, what shows that you are a child of GOD? All children of GOD live in love. May the love of GOD fills your heart for everyone including those who made themselves your enemies. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

Our GOD is good. Because HE is good, HE even gives rain and sunshine to everyone due to HIS goodness. GOD'S mercy truly is everlasting since the day of Adam and Eve to this present age. HIS WORD transcends all generations. Goodness, mercy and truth are all the nature of GOD. GOD cannot change, HE cannot stop doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth. *Precious one, as children of GOD and partakers of HIS divine nature, let us imitate GOD by doing good, showing mercy, speaking and living the truth. TOPIC: *NEVER BE AFRAID*

SCRIPTURE: *JOSHUA 1:9NIV*
"Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous? Don't be afraid, do not be discouraged for the LORD your GOD will be with you wherever you go."

*INSIGHT*
GOD had already told Joshua to be strong and courageous in Joshua 1:7. Then in verse 9 again HE had to remind him to be strong and courageous because Joshua had forgotten what GOD had told him in verse 7. The servant of GOD (Moses) died and GOD replaced him with Joshua. Joshua didn't believe that he could lead the Israelites to the promised Land because he still living in shock of the death of Moses. It happens when a person loses a dear one all of a sudden. When the WORD OF GOD came to Joshua the second time, he believed it and was able to lead the Israelites to the promised Land. *Precious one, the WORD OF GOD is also telling us to be strong and courageous so that we can be able accomplish the assignment GOD has given to us. TOPIC: *DON'T GIVE UP ON PRAYER*

SCRIPTURE: *1 Thessalonians 5:17niv*
"Pray continually."

*INSIGHT*
Prayer is a necessity for daily life. Paul the Apostle wants the believers in Thessalonica to develop the attitude of always loving to pray to GOD THE FATHER. He also wanted them to know that prayer is a lifestyle and not an event. Finally, Paul the Apostle wanted them to know that the HOLY SPIRIT is always looking forward to meeting them at the point of prayer. *Precious one, GOD is never tired of listening to HIS children's prayers. In fact the prayers of HIS children are like incense (Psalm 141:2). Never give up on praying to GOD. Prayer helps you to destroy all the works of satan in your life, prayer draws you closer to GOD ALMIGHTY, prayer helps you to overcome all kinds of temptations and prayer causes you to be strong in the LORD. Be a prayerful person and you will see supernatural changes in every area of your life. GOD bless you and good morning to you.*

TOPIC: *REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS*

SCRIPTURE: *Habakkuk 3:17-18niv*
"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in GOD my Savior."

*INSIGHT*
Prophet Habakkuk was a good farmer. One day he woke up and decided to visit his farm to see if he can some harvest for his family. When he got to the farm, to his amazement, he found the fig tree that supposed to bear fruits has no fruits on it, he decided to go to the vines to see if he would get some grapes on the vines, no grapes too, he went to the olive tree too but the olive tree also failed him. Infact the whole field produced nothing. From there he went to where his sheep and cattle are but when he got there too, he found out that all his sheep and cattle died. At this point, prophet Habakkuk have to be disappointed and give up on his GOD because all his investment is gone but in the midst of that he said he would rejoice in the LORD, he would be joyful in the GOD of his salvation. As a child of GOD, I want you to know that sometimes GOD allows us to be tested so things might not go the way we expected but that should not take away our joy in CHRIST. Apostle Paul in the New Testament agreed with the prophet Habakkuk and said,' "rejoice in the LORD always and again I say rejoice"(Philippians 4:4). *Precious one, anytime things seem difficult for you declare the word of Habakkuk, "the LORD GOD is my strength, and he will make my feet like a hind's feet, he will make me to walk upon mine high places. Never give up on GOD because things are hard for you today. But rather trust in the LORD, HE will turn everything that's working against you to your favor (Romans 8:28).
