Grace Reality Network Manifesting the Christ.

Many pastors preach as though the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ accomplished nothing, or as though they were not enough, and therefore we need to top up what the Father has already accomplished through Jesus Christ with our own efforts.

Jesus Christ acted by dying for our sin and resurrecting for our justification; we react by believing in Him to be delivered from sin and become righteous.

What motivates you to pray?

What motivates you to pray is as important as the prayer itself.

Many Christians pray because they fear that the devil will destroy them or that they will not be blessed.

But what motivated Jesus Christ to pray continually? Was it the fear of the devil or the desire to be intimate with the Father?

We know that Jesus Christ prayed not because He feared that the devil would destroy Him if He did not pray, but because He desired to abide in the presence of the Father and to receive instructions from His lips.

Many Christians pray not because they want to spend time with the Father, but because they fear the devil. This is why many Christians pray a lot but see no results.

How do you expect to receive answers to your prayers when your reason for praying is fear of the devil? Remember, fear is sin before God.

The only fear we are commanded to have is the fear of God, which is reverence and love for the Father.

Many pastors even believe that teaching about how wicked the devil is is a good motivation for Christians to pray.

But what they do not realize is that, as they keep teaching about how wicked the devil is, they are sowing seeds of unbelief and fear into the hearts of Christians instead of seeds of faith in God, which come through the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Many Christians are more afraid of the devil than they have faith in the power of God because they hear more about the works of the devil than about the victory of Jesus Christ on the cross.

They believe more in the devil's faithfulness to destroy than in God's faithfulness to save.

We need to preach Christ more in our churches.

When Philip preached Christ in Samaria, the power of the devil was broken, and Samaria was blessed.
"Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed [with them:] and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
And there was great joy in that city."
Acts 8:5-8

Let us preach Christ and His victory on the cross, and let us stop talking about the devil so much from the pulpit, which is supposed to exalt the name of Jesus Christ.

Why do you pray?

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinth 15:47.

Dear Christian, you belong to the race of the Second Man, the Lord from heaven.
This means you don't belong to the bloodline of your natural race or your natural family.

Live with the consciousness of your oneness with Christ—that is, your oneness with Him in His death to sin, His resurrection from the dead, and His ascension to the heavenly throne—if you want to experience the victorious life in Christ.

Why Grace must be preached.

The more a Christian is conscious that Jesus Christ died for his sins, the more he desires to live a holy life.

Scripture.
2 Peter 1:2-9.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
v3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
v4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
v5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
v6. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
v7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
v8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
v9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

According to Peter, if a Christian lacks diligence, faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity (love), it is because he has forgotten that "he was purged from his old sins."

Therefore, if we do not want a Christian to lack these qualities, we must remind him that he has been purged from his old sins.
In other words, we must preach grace to him—that Jesus Christ died for his sins.

This is why grace must be preached, because grace is what Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the cross.

Grace is the way to Holiness.

Jesus Christ is the reality of all spiritual things, which is the source of all physical things.
Outside of Jesus Christ, there is no reality.
