A Blessed Time of Fellowship, Learning, and Reflection at Nazareth Assembly
On Monday, 13th July 2026, Nazareth Assembly in the Chemunaa District was honoured to receive Pastor Joshua Kwabena Donkor, Youth Pastor of the Dansoman Area of The Church of Pentecost, on a working visit.
As part of the visit, the congregation watched thought-provoking videos on relationships, exploring common pitfalls and practical ways Christians can cultivate godly relationships and marriages that honour God.
The session challenged everyone to reflect deeply on their walk with Christ and left us with several timeless lessons:
✨ Our bodies are the temple of God; therefore, we must not invest in unprofitable pursuits such as sexual immorality.
✨ Cohabitation before marriage is not God's design and should not be encouraged, especially among believers.
✨ Relationships should be entered with both the heart and wisdom. Love must always be guided by discernment.
✨ No matter our past, Jesus still loves us and calls us to honour Him by living holy lives.
✨ We should never compromise our convictions or do things that make us uncomfortable simply to gain the approval of others.
✨ As young Christians, we must remain steadfast in our values, establish healthy boundaries, and refuse to compromise our righteousness.
✨ Whether in public or in private, our conduct should consistently reflect the character of Christ.
The visit was graced by Lady Martha Ampofowaa Donkor, wife of the Dansoman Area Youth Pastor; Elder Samuel Turkson, Presiding Elder of Nazareth Assembly; Elder Samson Tetteh, Chemunaa District Youth Leader; Elder Abraham Abbey Annorful, Assistant Chemunaa District Youth Leader; Elder Emmanuel Bortsie, Nazareth Assembly Youth Leader; together with local ministry leaders, officers, and members of the church.
We are grateful to God for this impactful visitation and the timely reminders to pursue holiness, wisdom, and Christ-centred relationships.
May these lessons continue to shape our lives as we grow in faith and become examples worthy of emulation.
