🪨⛲ “ *Strengthened to Do His Will”*
📜 Hebrews 13:20–21
“Now may the God of peace, who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
God Himself is the One who equips His people. The blessings in these verses are a declaration that the Christian life is carried not by our strength but by God’s active work within us. The image of Christ as the Great Shepherd helps us see this clearly. A shepherd does not merely command from a distance; He guides, protects, feeds, restores, and leads His sheep into the paths they must walk.
The Shepherd does not leave us struggling alone; His resurrection power and covenant love work in us so we can live lives that please Him.So today, let this be your quiet assurance: God Himself is working in you what pleases Him. You are not walking alone. You are being shepherded, strengthened, and perfected by the God of peace.
As we reflect on these verses, the closing prayer of Hebrews blends into our hearts: “May the God of peace make you complete.” This is not only a wish but an invitation to rest in the truth that God is actively shaping us. Every act of obedience, every moment of humility, every sacrifice of love is something He enables. And as we surrender to His Shepherding care, we begin to notice His peace leading us, His strength carrying us, and His presence completing us.
