SUNDAY GLORY SERVICE

FOCUS: JESUS - ALL IN ALL

The service emphasised that life is vanity without Christ. As God lifts us, we must not allow blessings, achievements or results to take His place. What matters to God is not merely what we accomplish, but our obedience, alignment and relationship with Him.

🔑 KEY LESSONS

1. Honour God above all things -1 Samuel 2:30. A man who honours God positions himself to receive God’s honour.

2. Obedience is greater than results. God is more interested in our obedience to His will than in impressive results.

3. Walk with God, not merely work for God. True alignment means allowing our lives, desires and decisions to agree with God.

4. Maintain reverence for God.We must never become so familiar with God that we lose our honour and fear of Him.

5. The Fall introduced death and corruption. Man’s choice to pursue his own will over God’s will brought spiritual death and eventually physical death.

6. Christ recovered the way to the Tree of Life. Through Christ’s sacrifice, God dealt with the problem of sin and opened the way back to true life.

7. Self-righteousness cannot save. The fig tree represents the appearance of righteousness without the fruit that God requires.

8. Christ is incorruptible. The acacia tree points to the incorruptible nature of Christ and His victory over corruption and death.

🎯 FOCUS

God is raising believers who will recognise their place in His Kingdom project and faithfully carry the message of the Gospel. As heralds, we are called to have compassion for souls, discern their needs, and take responsibility for bringing the Good News to them.

🔑 KEY LESSONS

1.Find Your Place in the Kingdom
Every believer has a role to play in God’s Kingdom project. We must not remain spectators when there is a harvest to be gathered.

2.A Herald Carries the King’s Message
A herald is an official messenger sent to proclaim an authoritative message. Our message is the Gospel—the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.

3.Carry the Burden for Souls
Jesus was moved with compassion when He saw the multitude. The harvest requires people who are willing to share the burden of reaching and helping others.

4.Compassion Must Lead to Action
It is not enough to feel for people; we must allow compassion to move us to respond to their spiritual needs and point them to Christ.
5.Discern the Needs of the Harvest
People may appear fine outwardly, but without Christ they remain spiritually lost. We must learn to see beyond appearances and recognise the true condition of people.
6.Do Not Be Selfish with the Solution
Like the lepers in 2 Kings 7:8–9, having discovered the solution, we cannot keep it to ourselves. The Gospel is too powerful to be hidden.

THEME: JESUS ALL IN ALL 2

Our Sunday Glory Service continued the revelation of Jesus Christ as the centre, purpose and destiny of all things. We were reminded that all things were created by Him, through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16–17)

🔑 KEY LESSONS

âś… ALL THINGS POINT TO JESUS
Everything exists to reveal Christ and ultimately come into conformity with Him.

✅ TELEIOS — MATURITY & COMPLETENESS
There is a level of spiritual maturity where all things come into their intended purpose and reflect Christ.

🌳 THE TREE OF LIFE
The Tree of Life represents God's eternal purpose. True LIFE is living consistently according to God's way and character.

⚔️ THE FALL OF MAN
In Eden, man chose his own way over God's way. In Gethsemane, Jesus demonstrated the opposite by submitting His will to the Father.

🧠 THE WILL OF GOD
Not everything that appears good is necessarily God's will. The believer must learn to distinguish between what is good and what is God's way.
