*Redeeming the time, for the days are evil.*

The word “redeeming” in Ephesians 5:16 comes from the Greek ek agorazō — to buy out, to rescue from loss, to take full advantage of an opportunity.
This is not passive living.
This is intentional extraction.
It paints the picture of a marketplace where time is constantly being traded, wasted, and stolen. But the believer is called to step in with spiritual awareness and buy back every moment, pulling it out of the hands of distraction, darkness, and delay.
The days are evil—not just in morality, but in their ability to drain purpose.
Therefore, we don’t spend time—we redeem it.
Every hour must answer to purpose.
Every moment must be rescued for God’s agenda.
Don’t let time slip—seize it, sanctify it, and make it count.
