INAUGURATION & WELCOME SERVICE OF NEWLY CREATED BUDUBURAM TOP DISTRICT HELD

Apostle Ekow Badu Wood, Kasoa Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, today 18th November, 2020 inaugurated and held welcome service in honour of the new Buduburam Top District Pastor and his family.
Pastor Daniel Kobina and Mrs P. Bentu , the new District Pastor of Buduburam Top, were called from the Bokabo District, Sefwi Wiwaso Area in the Western North Region.

Buduburam Top District was created out of Buduburam where Pastor Prince Joseph Sefa Boakye is the District Pastor.

Ultimately, Buduburam Top District was created during the 44th Session of General Council Meetings of The Church of Pentecost which was held virtually.

Aps Ekow Badu Wood, Kasoa Area Head, who delivered the sermon at the ceremony, spoke on the topic, "Do what you can do to help the Church - Role of Buduburam Top District" in the Glorious Church. With analogy from statements of facts made by Certain immoral in Luke 7:37-38
[37]When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume.
[38]Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair.
(Mark 14:8-9, Mark 14:3 - 4, John 12:9)

Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them, He espoused five roles that the newly created District should perform to enhance the building of the Glorious Church.

On behalf of the Buduburam District Media & IT Team, we wish Buduburam Top first ever District Pastor all the best as he leads God's flock to the promise land.

May we continue to bear them up in prayer

The Bethel Assembly Community-Based Church Building (CBCB) in Buduburam District in the Kasoa Area of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated.

The dedication service, which took place on Friday, November 6, 2020, was officiated by the Kasoa Area Head, Apostle Ekow Badu Wood, assisted by the District Pastor, Pastor Prince Joseph Sefa Boakye.

Delivering the sermon on the topic, “Your Body is the New Testament Temple,” based on Acts 7:47, the Mt View Worship Center Minister, Pastor, Ov Fred Amoakohene, revealed that in the Old Testament, God dwelled in the temples made by men, but now, “the believer’s body is the New Testament temple where God’s glory, beauty, nature, and Spirit dwells.”

He expounded that since the believer’s body is the temple of God, then every believer should make sure that their temples possess solid foundations that are built on the teachings and precepts of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ov Fred Amoakohene admonished all believers to walk in the consciousness that their bodies are indeed God’s temple, as such, all believers should do well to shun evil and keep their bodies holy so that the glory of God will fill it and dwell in them.
