During our powerful Redeeming Lives service, our father in the Lord, Rev. Gabriel Lawson, shared a truth:
"Holding onto a grudge feels like protection, but it actually keeps us trapped in the pain of yesterday. When we release those who hurt us—even our closest friends and neighbors—we open our hands to receive the healing God has been waiting to give us."
Forgiving those closest to us isn't saying what they did was okay, it’s choosing to trust God with the judgment so we can finally walk in total freedom. Let’s stop carrying the weight of yesterday's hurt into today's blessing. Lay down the offense and let Jesus make you whole again.

Forgiveness isn’t just a recommendation, it’s the cornerstone of our faith.

In yesterday's sermon, our Daddy, Rev. Gabriel reminded us of a sobering truth: when we carry unforgiveness, we build a wall between ourselves and God. Going through the motions of faith, singing songs, and sitting in a church pew mean very little if our hearts are harboring bitterness toward a brother or sister. True worship begins with a clean heart.
If we claim the grace of the Cross for ourselves, we must extend that same grace to others. Holding onto offense doesn't protect you; it only distances you from God’s presence and blocks the blessing of real community.
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." — Ephesians 4:32

Let’s stop carrying heavy burdens we were never meant to hold. Release the offense, choose love over pride, and experience the true freedom that comes with a forgiving heart.
