"Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John." (Luke 1:13)
Many people face situations that seem impossible. Some have prayed for years without seeing answers. Zechariah and Elizabeth were old and childless, and humanly speaking, their situation appeared hopeless. Yet God stepped into their lives and performed a miracle. This passage reminds us that there is nothing too hard for the Lord.
1. God Sees Our Long-Standing Needs
God had not forgotten Zechariah and Elizabeth. Though they waited for many years, God's eyes were upon them.
2. God Answers Prayer in His Time
The angel declared, "Your prayer has been heard." God's timing may differ from ours, but His answers are always perfect.

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." (Psalm 100:4)
Introduction
Thanksgiving is not just words we speak; it is an attitude that opens the door for God's presence, favor, and blessings. Throughout Scripture, those who thanked God experienced His mighty hand. When believers develop a lifestyle of thanksgiving, God moves on their behalf.
1. Thanksgiving Recognizes God's Lordship
Psalm 100:3
"Know ye that the Lord he is God..."
Thanksgiving acknowledges that God is our Creator.
It reminds us that everything we have comes from Him.
A thankful heart honors God and gives Him the glory He deserves.
Application: Never take God's blessings for granted. Thank Him daily for life, health, family, and salvation.
2. Thanksgiving Invites God's Presence
Psalm 100:4
"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving..."
Thanksgiving is the key that opens the gates of God's presence.
Complaining pushes us away from God, but gratitude draws us closer.
God's presence brings peace, joy, and direction.

Morning devotion.

Theme: HOPING FOR THE UNBELIEVABLE
WAITING FOR THE UNSEEN.

Trusting God for a greater future in difficult situations is not easy. It takes a person of faith to keep believing when there seems to be no evidence, to keep hoping when circumstances say otherwise, and to keep moving forward when the path is unclear.
Abraham believed God's promise against all odds and became the father of many nations.
Job endured suffering, remained faithful, and God restored everything he had lost.
Enoch walked faithfully with God and pleased Him through his unwavering faith.
The faithful God never disappointed them, and He will not disappoint us either. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When men see impossibilities, God sees opportunities to reveal His power and glory.
Therefore, keep trusting, keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking by faith. Your waiting season is not wasted. God is preparing something greater than you can imagine.

Theme: God Is Our Redeemer
Scripture Reading: Psalm 111:9
"He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name." — Psalm 111:9 (KJV)
Our God is a Redeemer. Throughout the Bible, God demonstrates His love by rescuing His people from bo***ge, oppression, and destruction. Psalm 111:9 reminds us that God sent redemption to His people and established His covenant forever.
Redemption means being delivered from captivity and restored to a right relationship with God. Through His mercy and grace, God redeems us from sin, fear, shame, and every work of the enemy. No matter the situation you are facing today, remember that God has the power to redeem, restore, and renew.
As believers, we must trust in God's unfailing promises. His covenant is everlasting, and His faithfulness never fails. When challenges arise, do not lose hope. Look unto the Lord, for He is still the same God who redeems His people.
Today, thank God for His redeeming power and believe that He is working on your behalf. Whatever has been lost, broken, or delayed, God is able to restore it for His glory.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being our Redeemer. Thank You for delivering us from sin and every power of darkness. Let Your redeeming power work in every area of our lives. Restore what has been lost, strengthen our faith, and help us to trust in Your everlasting covenant. In Jesus' name, Amen.
