THREE SINS FOR WHICH SEEMS UNFORGIVEABLE BY GOD
Do you know that there are some three sins that God hates so much that He deems them unforgiveable? If I were to ask you what those sins were, you would probably say things such as "murder," "r**e," or "abortion,"etc. As horrendous and despicable such acts are, they are forgivable if there is true repentance. People who hear this say that that is not fair. Who are we to judge God, if I may ask? In fact, brethren, it may floor you when I tell you the sins that God does not find repentable of: su***de, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and rejection of Jesus Christ as one's personal Savior and Lord until the second of one's last breath.
The first of these is su***de. When one commits su***de, one renders him or herself unable to ask God's forgiveness. Once you have shot yourself in the head, there is no coming back from that. Now people have done the act of su***de, and repented of it from the heart, accepted Christ, and then died. I believe they went to Heaven. Like the thief on the cross, I see Christ, with His arms stretched out, telling the person, "Today thou shall be with me in paradise!" But someone who shoots himself on purpose, or jumps down a flight of stairs on purpose, and is killed instantly, has no future but Hell. In Scripture it says, "He who endures to the end, the same shall be saved"(Matt. 10: 21). It is very clear that no matter how many trials one encounter in life--the loss of a job, a diagnosis of cancer from the doctor, or a divorce, broken heart from partners--there is a God in Heaven who is in control, and who can restore hope. Knowing this, there is no excuse for the Christian to take matters in his or her own hands, and decide that his or her life is no longer worth living. From the Scripture; it means that if you do not endure to the end, you shall most certainly NOT be saved! We must endure, we must draw on His strength and we must live through the pain in order to make it. No one can just opt out. This is not cool breeze talking here; this is the Word of God. Most Christians also commit spiritual su***de which we must be very careful of. Out of loss of hope, we say “I wish am dead”, I wish was not created at all”. No matter what happens, we must endure, for there is a God who sees and will come to our aid.
The second of these is the spiritually suicidal act of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Once you do it, there is no turning back the clock. Once you do it, you become like Esau, in which God's Word says that although he wept for the blessing with bitter tears, he could not regain it.
Indeed, when your heart becomes so hardened that you actually attribute the miracles of Jesus to Satan, which is mainly what blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is, you are indeed past help, past hope. Mark 3: 29 says, "Truly I tell you people, all people will be forgiven of their sins and the blasphemies that they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but are guilty of an eternal sin." In other words, an eternal sin is one that can never be forgiven; no, not in this life or the one to come. The Scripture later explains that he said all this because the Pharisees said that Jesus, the Son of God, had an unclean spirit.
And yet there are some today who state that healing, miracles, etc. is not of God as it is practiced today, but of the Devil. And I have heard it taught that speaking of tongues are likewise not for today, but tongues, as they are spoken today, are also from Hell. It is generally taught in certain churches that all these things passed away with the Apostles, and that in this new dispensation, we have the completed Word of God, and all of that has been done away with. I am afraid for these preachers on Judgment Day! If you ever have knowingly said words such as that, you can count yourself out. Indeed, no one who really loves God would even go there. Jesus Christ said, “I will not leave you comfortless, but I will send the comforter (Holy Spirit), the world does not know Him, but you know Him, for He is with you, and will be in you. Anyone who says the Holy Spirit and His gifts are from the devil is not of God and is bound to eternal condemnation.
But if you have spoken such words in ignorance, there is hope, there is Grace. A contrite heart, God says He will in no wise despise or cast out, we are told in Psalms 51: 17. If you spoke words about even the Holy Spirit in absolute ignorance that were not true, such sin was committed in ignorance. I believe God shall be gracious and forgiving towards such people. But I speak here of people who KNOW better and yet commit this soul-ending sin. They know the verse of Scripture that speak of the unforgiveable sin, the sin unto death. Once you now know such sin is unforgiveable, be careful with your mouth.
Finally, the third sin God cannot forgive is the stubborn rejection of His Son Jesus Christ until one's death day. The Bible is very clear: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no name under heaven that is given among men whereby we must be saved." The Bible makes it so unequivocally clear that there is no way around it. It grieves my heart, then, that there are a large percentage of Evangelicals who believe any and all roads lead to God. People say all roads lead to God, you may choose Buddhism or Islam. But all roads lead to the same God." I am sorry to bust your bubble, my brother, but that is NOT what your Bible teaches, and continues to teach. There is ONE way. And if you reject that Way until the moment of your last breath, you have committed one of the three unforgiveable sins. Jesus is the only way to God. There is no other way to God but through Jesus Christ.
Yes, murder, spousal abuse, adultery, abortion, and even sending people into a war that should have never been fought are among the sins that can be forgiven if one has a truly contrite heart. Even David, who killed a man to commit adultery with his wife, obtained the forgiveness of God. He was truly sorry, and did not commit one of these unforgiveable sins. God is gracious, but He even has His limits. Don't play with Him--please, if you miss everything else I say today, please: Don't trifle with God. You will live throughout eternity to regret it. All sins are not good, shun sin, and live well with God.
God bless you
