With hearts full of gratitude, the Youth Ministry of Global Evangelical Church, Mt. Zion – Akosombo extends our sincere appreciation to our church leadership, parents, sponsors, and every member of the church family for your prayers, support, sacrifices, and encouragement throughout our Youth Week Celebration.

Your generosity, presence, and unwavering commitment made this week a memorable and impactful one. Together, we celebrated Christ, strengthened our faith, and recommitted ourselves to the Great Commission.

"May the Lord richly reward your sacrifice of love and bless you abundantly." (Hebrews 6:10)

**📢 EVANGELISM DAY | YOUTH WEEK 2026**

*"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..."* — **Matthew 28:19**

Today, our youth stepped beyond the walls of the church to answer Christ's call—sharing the Good News, praying with people, and demonstrating God's love in our community.

Evangelism is more than an event; it is our calling. Every conversation is an opportunity to point someone to Jesus Christ, the only way, the truth, and the life.

As young believers, we are committed to being the light of the world and ambassadors of Christ, proclaiming His saving grace until He returns.

May every seed sown today bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom of God.

The Youth: A charge to preach Christ and His second coming.
Reference: 2 Timothy 4:1-2
‎Preach Christ while your life reflects same.
‎John 14:6 argues that Christ is the only way.
‎Timing is so urgent. Day of accountability is close.
‎Preaching of the gospel is not an option but a command.
‎
‎The mission field is the entire world.
‎Social media platforms are created to share information. It is true that most of the things on social media are fake. However, we can seize opportunities created by social media handles to preach Christ.
‎Act now because you do not know the times, confirmed in Matthew 24:36.
‎
‎Keeping the charge also requires that you embrace the Bible and remain prayerful. Case studies cited were Daniel, Timothy and youngest king of Judah, Josiah.
‎
‎You cannot prevent a bird to fly over your head but you can prevent it from making a nest in your hair.
‎
‎Engage in self evangelism, take active part in church activities, identify with Christian bodies in school, participate in mission work are a few ways to practicalize the charge. Faithful and holy life is key.
‎
‎There is always a reward in preaching the word.
‎The crown of righteousness shall be given you both on earth and in heaven.
‎
‎Stand firm and occupy yourself with the charge before His second coming.
