Prayer builds the believer. Prayer can turn a weak you into a strong you. Prayer can turn a very timid, carnal you into a spiritual fashion of yourself. Men ought always to pray and not to faint.

The youth theme for 2025/2026, “Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid as Youth” (1 Corinthians 3:11), speaks to the heart of who we are and who we are becoming. We are heirs of a rich heritage of faith, discipline, and service, and the foundation on which we stand is Christ Himself. Our task is to build with strength, to add value through our commitment, our creativity, and our devotion, and to carry forward the story with courage and vision. To celebrate is not to look back only, but to live today in a way that honors yesterday and secures tomorrow. As youth, we are called to rise, to build, and to leave behind a testimony of faith and impact that future generations can stand upon with confidence. And when our part is done, may it be said of us that we built faithfully on the sure foundation, and that we left the Guild, the Church, and our world stronger than we found them.

As reflected in 1 Corinthians 3:16, we are reminded that we are God's temple, with His Spirit dwelling in us. The foundation of our faith has been laid by our leaders who faithfully preached Christ to us, bringing us to where we are today. I believe we are called to build upon this foundation by continuing their good work of spreading the gospel. It is with this conviction that I am reaching out to seek your generous support to enable us to move forward with our mission, specifically to purchase *evangelism sound equipment* necessary for this endeavor.
