THROUGH HIS DIVINE POWER, WE HAVE IT ALL!
( PART TWO)
📖2 Peter 1:2-3"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
✍️As we saw yesterday, this scripture teaches that true, personal knowledge of God and Jesus Christ unlocks God's abundant grace, peace, and all spiritual resources needed for a holy life. Through His divine power, God has already provided everything required for physical life and spiritual devotion.
✍️We also need to know that God will not demand from us that which He has not already given us. He grants us the ability to do the things that He requires of us. So although our challenges may be very tough and intimidating, we are not left helpless and powerless. We have the equipment and the tools to tackle life's many challenges.
✍️To face our challenges, we must know what God has given to us:
✔️GOD HAS GIVEN HIMSELF TO US.
✍️The Bible clearly teaches us that God gives Himself to us by stepping into our human world through Jesus Christ, sending the Holy Spirit to live inside believers, and offering His own eternal presence as our greatest treasure and daily help.
✍️In Psalm 94, the psalmist was in despair. The wicked were attacking God’s people. “They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless; and they say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive” (v. 6-7). The psalmist cried out to God for help and rescue. He sought the Lord as judge of all the earth.
✍️In verses 16-22, the psalmist shows us it is God who meets us where we are with his presence and gives us just what we need.
“Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers? If the LORD had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute? They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.But the LORD has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge.”
✍️In all the psalmist’s troubles, it was God who met him where he was. Who God is, his very character, meets the psalmist’s needs. When the psalmist was in battle against the wicked, it was God who helped him. When he almost slipped, it was God who held him. When his heart was heavy, God was his hope and consolation. When the wicked attack the righteous, God is his refuge.
✍️This psalm reminds us that when we are faced with trouble, when we are in despair, when we feel lost and alone, what we need most is God Himself. But this is not usually what we pray for or what we seek. Instead, we usually turn to false substitutes to step in and rescue us. We turn to comforts like watching a favorite television drama or mindlessly scrolling through social media or brewing another cup of coffee—anything we think will make our lives better. Or we might look to strategies, methods, and rules to make our lives work. We put our hope and trust in them to rescue us from our troubles. Rather than turning to God as our refuge, we seek refuge elsewhere.
✍️God is our portion and our greatest treasure. He supplies all that we need with himself. On this side of the cross, God met us in the person of Jesus Christ. He is God in the flesh. “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation” (Colossians 1:15). So when it seems like evil is winning the day, when life is troubling and hard, when our feet slip, or when our hearts are heavy, the Lord is with us. He meets us and gives us just what we need. For He himself is our help, our hope, and our refuge.
✍️The Lord is on our side. His power is available to us to tap into. His grace is sufficient for us. His love for us is unfailing. He does not leave us alone nor abandon us when we get into trouble. In our moments of perplexity, He shows up in power to uphold us and carry us through in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Don't forget that " WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND FOR WONDERS"

✔️KEY THEMES IN 2 PETER 1:2-3 ARE: 🔹️MULTIPLIED GRACE AND PEACE:Grace (God's unearned favor and power) and peace (inner calm) grow and multiply as a believer deepens their relationship with God.
🔹️THE ROLE OF "KNOWLEDGE":This is not just facts in a book. It means a deep, living, and personal relationship with God and Jesus.
🔹️ALL THINGS FOR LIFE AND GODLINESS:God's own power gives believers everything required to live successfully on earth and to honor Him properly.
🔹️CALLED BY GLORY AND VIRTUE:God calls people to Himself using His own glorious and moral excellence as the standard and the method.
✍️This week and beyond, may we live in this realisation that through God’s divine power, we have it all through Christ Jesus. Amen! Don't forget that " WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND FOR WONDERS"

⛪️A DEVOTIONAL TO NOURISH YOUR SPIRIT⛪️SEE OBSTACLES AS OPPORTUNITIES FOR POSSIBILITIES! ( PART FIVE)
📖Psalm 27:11-14 " Teach me how to live, OLord.
Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me. 12 Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence. 13 Yet I am confident I will see theLord’s goodness. while I am here in the land of the living. 14 Wait patiently for theLord.
Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for theLord.(NLT)
✍️This scripture is a prayer by King David for divine guidance and a call to courageous trust in God when facing false accusations, hostility, and hard times. It shifts David from fear to a confident plea for God to steer David away from traps set by enemies.
✍️When we’re facing barriers, our natural response is frustration or fear. But recalling God’s faithfulness can lead us to a truer perspective. Always remember that:
✔️GOD INVITES OUR PARTICIPATION.
✍️It takes courage to move forward despite barriers. Patience is necessary as we wait for God to work and reveal His plan. And faith enables us to trust God with the outcome.
✍️Obstacles don’t disappear because we trust the Lord, but our perspective shifts. When we remember these truths, we can face barriers with confidence that God is already at work in ways we may not yet see.
✍️God invites our participation by taking the first step and asking us to join His ongoing work. He does not force us. Instead, He uses gentle calls, everyday needs, and personal relationships to welcome us into His plans.
📌HOW GOD CALLS US!
🔹️BY TAKING THE INITIATIVE: God reveals where He is already working around us.
🔹️BY USING EVERYDAY MOMENTS: He sends quiet nudges through the needs of our neighbors, friends, or family.
🔹️BY OFFERING FREEDOM: He gives a warm, open invitation rather than a harsh command.
📌HOW WE CAN RESPOND!
🔹️THROUGH PRAYER: We talk to God and ask Him to show us where to help.
🔹️THROUGH SERVICE: We use our personal time and unique skills to love and care for others.
🔹️THROUGH OBEDIENCE: We step out of our comfort zones to follow His leading.
✍️As we see obstacles as opportunities for possibilities, let’s embrace all truths we have shared this week with obedience and positivity through faith, we shall experience supernatural possibilities beyond our comprehension in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Have a restful blessed weekend. But don't forget that "WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND FOR WONDERS"

TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN!
Ah, dear friends, I find myself reflecting on the wise words of Billy Graham, who once said, “I believe that only when a man is prepared to die is he also prepared to live.” Now, before you furrow your brow in thought, let me clarify. This doesn’t mean we should trudge through life with a heavy heart, always pondering our final moments. No, indeed! It’s about living with a lightness that springs from the freedom of not being shackled by the fear of the unknown.

Consider, if you will, what Paul shared with the Philippians: “To live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, ESV). Such magnificent words! If we place our trust in Jesus Christ, there awaits a glory far beyond our imagination. This promise, dear friends, doesn’t just comfort us; it emboldens us. With the Holy Spirit by our side, we are called to live boldly and vibrantly, shining His light wherever we go.

So, let’s embrace each day with joy, knowing that our lives are enriched by faith, and when the time comes, we have the most splendid journey ahead. And that, dear friends, is truly worth celebrating! Amen!

✍️His indwelling Holy Spirit communicates what we need to know (John 16:13). Whether we receive His direction in stages or all at once, He asks us to trust Him rather than human wisdom.
✍️God equips and guides us believers by providing spiritual gifts, inner strength through the Holy Spirit, and wisdom found in His Word. He directs our steps using scripture as a foundation, wise counsel from other people, and open or closed doors in our daily circumstances.
📌HOW GOD EQUIPS US:
🔹️SPIRITUAL GIFTS: He gives special abilities to every person to help serve others and build up the community.( 1 Peter 4:10-11" 10 God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God’s many kinds of blessings.11 Are you called to preach? Then preach as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ—to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. ( TLB)
🔹️INNER STRENGTH: The Holy Spirit gives power, courage, and endurance when tasks feel too hard. ( Ephesians 3:16 "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being)
🔹️PREPARED HEARTS: He uses life experiences, trials, and learning times to shape our character and readiness. ( Psalm 10:17: God hears the humble and prepares their heart to pray and receive.)
📌HOW GOD GUIDES US:
THROUGH THE BIBLE: Scripture acts as a clear light and map for moral and practical choices.( Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (or "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" KJV).
🔹️THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT: He speaks to our hearts and conscience to give a quiet sense of peace or warning. (John 16:13: "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth..."; Romans 8:14: "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.")
🔹️THROUGH WISE COUNSEL: He uses trusted friends, mentors, and church leaders to offer good advice. ( Proverbs 15:22: "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.")
🔹️THROUGH CIRCUMSTANCES: He opens and closes doors to nudge us in the right direction. The Bible says in (Isaiah 30:21: "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.'")
I pray God uses obstacles to equip and guide us in the right path of righteousness and victory each day of our lives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Don't forget that " WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND FOR WONDERS"
