TOPIC: THE FORCE OF JOY
It has been a powerful week. Within the course of the week, we troubled our troubles, came out of our troubles, took our blessings and appreciated the essence of Testimonies. As the icing on the cake, fc24 ends with the force of joy .

What will make you happy?
(John 16:33)
Because you're in Christ you should have peace. Even in the midst of all the miseries of the world, you should be of good cheer for the Lord has had and will forever have dominion over the world.

Joy is a cause or source of great happiness. Happiness is a choice which is regardless of what happens to you. Unlike the alcoholics who have to drink alcohol in order to be "happy" temporarily, the joy of God is perpetual. If the Holy Spirit is in you, it implies you have joy in you.

John 15:11
"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full "
Don't wait for anybody to cheer you up, be your own cheer leader.

Joy brings strength
Nehemiah 8:8-10
In the course of the week, don't worry about any new understanding you got from the word of God but rejoice, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Joy is not automatic. The devil will surely attack your mind. The devil will try to convince you that what you're hoping for wont be fulfilled by God. Keep reminding yourself and the devil what the Lord has done for you and the joy of the Lord will take charge in your life.

Joy is an antidote for depression. (James 1:2-4) Depression comes as a result of what you perceive, but count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your Faith requires patience.

You can express your joy by;
Singing (Psalm 65:12)
Clapping Isaiah 55:4
Dancing (Jeremiah 33:13)
Shouting (Zephaniah 3:14)
Laughing
