JESUS BRINGS THE BEST WINE

John 2:1–11

At the wedding in Cana, the wine finished before the celebration ended. In those days, running out of wine at a wedding brought shame and disappointment to the family. But when Jesus stepped into the situation, everything changed. He performed His first miracle by turning ordinary water into quality wine.

This miracle is a reminder that Jesus still has the power to transform lives today. Water represents struggles, delay, weakness, disappointment, and lack. Wine represents joy, favor, honor, celebration, and abundance. When Jesus is involved in your life, He can turn your pain into a testimony.

HOW CAN YOUR WATER BECOME WINE?

1. Involve Jesus In Everything You Do.

Many people struggle because they try to build their lives without Christ. When Jesus is involved in your family, business, ministry, education, and relationships, miracles become possible.

2. Give God What You Have.

The water looked ordinary, but it became the foundation for the miracle. Never despise small beginnings. God can use your talent, faith, prayer, and little resources for great things.

3. Obey Whatever Jesus Says.

Mary told the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” Obedience opens the door for miracles. Your breakthrough is connected to your obedience.

4. Stay Connected To Spiritual People.

God places spiritual mentors and mature believers in our lives for guidance, encouragement, and prayer during difficult times.

Today, Jesus is still turning water into wine. He can change failure into success, sorrow into joy, and weakness into strength. Surrender your situation to Him, and He will give you a testimony.

PRAYING ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD

Main Text: 1 John 5:14
“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us.”

Prayer is powerful, but effective prayer must align with God's will. Many believers pray based on emotions and personal desires, yet God answers prayers that agree with His divine purpose. God’s will is perfect and always works for our good, even when we do not fully understand it.

1. God’s Will Is Greater Than Our Desires

Sometimes our desires conflict with God’s plan. Human beings often pray from impatience, pressure, or selfish ambition, but God sees the future and knows what is best. Just as a loving father refuses harmful requests from a child, God may deny certain prayers to protect us from destruction. His “No” can still be a blessing.

2. The Word Of God Reveals His Will

The Word of God is the key to knowing His will. The Bible reveals God’s mind and purpose for His children. When believers study Scripture, their prayers become more aligned with heaven. God’s Word teaches us to pray with faith, holiness, love, forgiveness, and obedience.

3. Jesus Is Our Perfect Example

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of surrendering to God’s will. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” Even though the cross was painful, Jesus submitted Himself to the Father’s plan. Prayer is not forcing God to follow our plans; it is surrendering ourselves to His purpose.

4. The Holy Spirit Helps Us Pray Correctly

The Holy Spirit guides believers in prayer according to the will of God. A prayer life led by the Spirit becomes powerful and effective.
When we pray according to God’s will, we experience peace and confidence. God’s will may not always be easy, but it always leads to purpose, victory, and lasting joy.

A MOTHER’S LOVE: A REFLECTION OF GOD’S LOVE

Text: Proverbs 31:25-31
“Her children arise and call her blessed...” – Proverbs 31:28

Mother’s Day is a special time to honor and appreciate the sacrifices, prayers, and unconditional love of mothers. A godly mother is one of God’s greatest gifts to a family. Through mothers, we experience care, discipline, encouragement, and compassion. The Bible celebrates women who raised their children in the fear of God and became blessings to generations.

1. A Godly Mother Is Strong And Faithful

The woman in Proverbs 31 is clothed with strength and dignity. Mothers face numerous challenges, yet they remain strong for their families. Behind many successful people is a praying and hardworking mother who refused to give up.
A mother’s strength is not only physical but also spiritual. She trusts God even in difficult seasons. Like Hannah, who prayed for Samuel, godly mothers carry their children before God in prayer and believe God for their future.

2. A Mother’s Love Reflects God’s Love

A mother’s love is sacrificial. Mothers give their time, energy, comfort, and even sleep for the well-being of their children. This reflects God’s love for humanity. Isaiah 66:13 says, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.”
Even when others disappoint us, a caring mother continues to love, correct, support, and encourage her children. Mothers are earthly examples of compassion and mercy.

3. God Blesses Generations Through Mothers

Many great people in the Bible were shaped by godly mothers. Timothy was influenced by Eunice and Lois, while Moses was protected by his mother. Mothers are destiny builders.

Today, we celebrate all mothers and mother figures. May God strengthen them, bless their homes, and reward every sacrifice in Jesus’ name. Amen.

SILENCE PRINCIPLES TO SUCCESS

Text: Luke 16:10–12

Introduction

Success in God’s Kingdom is built on faithfulness. Jesus teaches that before God entrusts you with much, He watches how you handle little. Many seasons of growth are silent—no applause, no recognition—but those are the moments that determine your next level. If you are faithful in private, God will reward you openly.

1. Faithful With What You Have

“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”
God is not waiting to bless you with more—He is watching how you handle what you already have. What seems small to you is important to God. David was faithful with the sheep before he became king. Be committed in your current level:
* Serve diligently
* Stay consistent
* Value small beginnings
Your present assignment is your preparation.

Key Insight: Faithfulness in small things leads to growth.

2. Faithful With Money

“If you have not been faithful in unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust true riches?”
Money is a test of character. God observes how you spend, save, and give. Faithfulness with money includes discipline, generosity, and accountability.
* Honor God with your resources
* Avoid waste
* Give cheerfully
If you cannot manage little money well, you cannot be trusted with true riches.

Key Insight: Your financial habits reflect your spiritual maturity.

3. Faithful With What Belongs To Others

“If you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”
Before God gives you your own, He watches how you serve others. Joshua served Moses; Elisha served Elijah.
Be loyal and responsible:
* Serve with humility
* Handle responsibilities with care
* Honor leadership
How you treat what belongs to others determines what God gives you.

Key Insight: Faithful service leads to ownership.

Conclusion

God’s success principles are simple: be faithful in silence. Stay committed even when unnoticed. What you do now is shaping your future.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be faithful in all things and prepare me for greater works. Amen.

LIVING IN THE FEAR OF GOD (Part 2)

Main Texts: Ecclesiastes 12:13, Psalm 2:11, Proverbs 8:13

The fear of God is a vital foundation of the Christian life. Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” This shows that our entire existence is centered on honoring God. The fear of God is not about terror, but about reverence, honor, and total obedience to His will.

How To Live In The Fear Of God

1. Showing God deep respect
2. Hating evil
3. Living a pure and righteous life
(As explained in Part 1)

BENEFITS OF FEARING GOD

1. It Attracts God’s Blessings
When you fear God, you position yourself for His favor, provision, and grace.

2. It Brings Wisdom and Direction
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. It helps you avoid costly mistakes and choose what is right.

3. It Guarantees Divine Protection
Those who fear God enjoy His protection. He watches over them and keeps them from unseen dangers.

4. It Leads to Long Life
A life of obedience keeps you away from destructive paths. While sin shortens life, the fear of God preserves it.

5. It Brings Peace and Stability
Those who fear God have inner peace. Their stability comes from trusting God, not circumstances.

6. It Secures God’s Mercy
God shows mercy to those who fear Him. Even when they fall, His compassion covers them.

7. It Produces a Life That Pleases God
When you fear God, your life aligns with His will. When God is pleased, doors open, battles are won, and favor speaks.

Conclusion

Living in the fear of God is not optional—it is necessary for a victorious life. When you fear God, you walk in wisdom, enjoy protection, attract blessings, and live a life that pleases Him.
Let the fear of God guide you daily. Honor Him, obey Him, and walk in righteousness, and you will see His mighty hand upon your life.
