Theme: Who Do You Turn To?

Beloved, when we face difficult situations, where do we turn first? Sometimes, in moments of fear and uncertainty, we quickly look for human help, connections, or other sources of comfort. But 2 Kings 1:5–8 reminds us that our first response should be to seek God. King Ahaziah was seriously ill, yet instead of turning to the Lord, he sought guidance from another source.

Beloved, what we depend on in difficult moments reveals where our faith truly rests. God is always ready to hear us, guide us, and strengthen us. Let us not wait until everything fails before we seek Him. In every situation, make God your first place of refuge and direction.

Prayer Points:
• Lord, help me to seek You first in every situation.
• Give me the wisdom and faith to depend on You rather than on worldly alternatives. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS

Theme: Truth Cannot Be Buried

Beloved, sometimes people will try to hide the truth when it does not suit them. They may deny what happened, create another story, or even use money to silence the truth. But the truth of God does not change because people refuse to accept it. In Matthew 28:11–15, the guards reported what had happened at Jesus’ tomb, but the religious leaders paid them to spread a false story about His resurrection.

As believers, we must be careful not to allow fear, pressure, or personal interest to make us compromise the truth. Jesus had risen, and no false report could change that. Beloved, stand for what is true, even when it is not popular. God’s truth will always stand.

Prayer Points:
• Lord, give me courage to stand firmly for Your truth.
• Help me never to compromise my faith because of fear, pressure, or personal gain. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS
MY HOPE IS ALIVE

MATTHEW 28:1-8

Beloved, have you gone through any situation that makes you feel that all hope is gone? In such situations we may face closed doors, disappointments, or situations that seem impossible to change. But Matthew 28:1-8 reminds us that the stone was rolled away and Jesus had risen. What looked like the end to His death was actually the beginning of a new chapter.

The resurrection reminds us that God can bring life where we see only endings. What seem to have ended in your life?

Beloved, whatever situation you are facing today, do not give up. The God who raised Jesus from the dead is still at work. Your situation may look finished, hopeless but behold that stone to your situation is being rolled away in Jesus name.

PRAYER
1. Lord, strengthen my faith when my situation looks hopeless.

2. Lord, help me walk in the hope and victory of the risen Christ. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS

Theme: The Cross Changed Everything

Beloved, there are moments when life becomes dark and we wonder where God is. Matthew 27:45–55 takes us to the darkest moment at the cross, when darkness covered the land and Jesus cried out in deep anguish. Yet even in that painful moment, God was still at work. Jesus gave His life for us, and the curtain of the temple was torn from top to bottom, showing that the way into God’s presence had been opened.

Beloved, never allow a difficult season to make you think God has abandoned you. The cross reminds us that God can be working even when we cannot see it. Because Jesus gave His life for us, we can approach God with confidence and hope. Your darkest moment is not the end of your story.

Prayer Points:
• Lord, help me trust You even when I cannot understand what I am going through.
• Thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus and the access I have into Your presence. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS

THE PRICE OF OUR SALVATION


MATTHEW 27:27-37


Believed, no matter what we are going through, be it pain, rejection, failure , etc, let's look to Jesus our best example and our price. In Matthew 27:27–37, Jesus was mocked, beaten, crowned with thorns, and led away to be crucified. Yet He endured all this for our sake.

Beloved, the cross reminds us of how much God loves us. When you face difficult times, remember that Christ understands suffering and has already gone through that before. As believers, we should not give up when the road becomes difficult and the journey becomes tough. All we need to do is to keep our faith, keep trusting Him, and remember that our salvation came at a great price.

PRAYER
1. Lord Jesus, help me never to take Your sacrifice for granted.

2. Lord, ggive me strength to remain faithful to You, even in difficult times. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS
Theme: When Fear Makes You Deny Your Faith

Beloved, there are moments when following Christ can become difficult, especially when we feel pressured, afraid, or concerned about what others may say. Peter loved Jesus, yet when the pressure came, he denied knowing Him three times. His story reminds us that even sincere believers can stumble when fear takes over.

But beloved, failure does not have to be the end of our story. Peter wept bitterly, and his repentance became the beginning of restoration. When we fall, let us not run away from God; let us return to Him, learn from our weakness, and stand again in faith. May our love for Christ be stronger than our fear of people.

Prayer Points:
• Lord, give me courage to stand for You even when I am under pressure.
• When I fail, help me repent, rise again, and remain faithful to You. Amen.

ENCOURAGING WORDS

WATCH AND PRAY

MATTHEW 26:37-47


Beloved, this is a call of warning and caution to us all. In Matthew 26:37–47, Jesus faced deep sorrow in Gethsemane, yet He turned to prayer. He asked His disciples to watch and pray because the spirit may be willing, but the body is weak.

Beloved, when life becomes difficult, and things don't seem to go yoour way, don't run away from God; run to Him in prayer.

Eventhough prayer may not remove every difficult situation immediately, it gives us strength to stand, obey, and trust God to make a way for us.

Beloved, when you feel weak, watch and pray.
When you are afraid, watch and pray.
When you don't know what to do, watch and pray.

PRAYER
1. Lord, strengthen me when I feel weak and overwhelmed.

2. Lord, help me remain watchful and prayerful in every season. Amen.
