Been tossing in bed. It's 11:30pm and I'm being bothered by this. Everyday, as I scroll through Facebook mainl to while away the time, almost 70% of all I see is sexually stimulting material ( shared hacked p**n post, twerks etc) and other things I'd term unnecessary.
The Christian stuff almost always go like " Type Amen and receive this house, money, car in the next 24 hours", if you love Jesus, don't ignore Type Amen etc.
I just got this. It's time Christians rose up and flooded social media with life transforming materials. True, when you post your beautiful pictures, they get a lot of likes but when you commit to sharing the Gospel in your own small way in your own corner of the world, you are better off with more likes from Heaven. I'm not rich and sponsoring this would put a dent in my account but just so it gets to you, I'm sponsoring this post.

I was recently talking to someone on the concept of Grace and the law and somehow he thought preaching Grace is gonna give people the mandate to sin. Its so amazing how the Grace message evokes the same question from the time of Paul to this present age. I think what we miss is the glorious new perspective Jesus came to give us of the Father and the new life Grace gives us. Knowing the truth(Grace) is what can set man free. Nothing else does. #

In this time of Easter, all I can think of is what He did. He was beaten and spat on and nailed to a cross like a thief. All that he did was for me and you. Its so simple but profound. Jesus loves us dearly

I took a trotro(passenger bus) recently and unfortunately I didnt have smaller denominations on me. When i handed my money to the conductor, he got angry because the money i had to pay was far smaller than what I had in hand. I was annoyed at this point because i expected him to understand that if i had smaller denominations, i would have given it to him. All of a sudden, this lady tapped me on the back and said she would pay for me. I was surprised but thanked her however. As i got down from the bus, i felt so embarrassed because someone i didnt know paid my fare. I guess that is our reaction to God's Grace. Our pride gets in the way to receiving all that Christ did for us on the cross free. We sometimes feel we have to do something to merit Grace. So in Luke 18:18, a man asked Jesus what "he" had to do to receive eternal life. The follow up was an indication that as much as we would want to uphold law, we can never be perfect by the law. Grace has proven to be a very unbelievably simple concept. Jesus came to fulfill the law which man could not in thousands of years fulfill. So with His last breath, Jesus said finished to law so the would could embrace the Grace he has made available by His death. So now, all we have to do is receive Grace. We don't need to work the law because Jesus paid the ultimate price leaving nothing for us to pay for. :)

I and some other people got the opportunity to be on a show on radio yesterday. I got the chance to do a spoken word on how Grace brought me through a system of religion to a point of Grace. it was an experience. We thank Henry Anyomi Norkplim for making this possible. But ultimately, all thanksgiving is to God for His Grace

Religion says "I love God" but Grace says "God loves me". Religion makes people focus more on their efforts but Grace makes us focus on what Jesus did on the cross. You dont have to do anything to merit His love. All that is needed was done on the cross 1000s of years ago. All you need to do is receive:)

We are working on a video project. We are all for Grace. Unfortunately, religion isn't making it possible for people to align themselves to appreciate Grace with all the DOs and DON'T s the church propagates. I really love this quote not because it seems to 'bash' the very thing i am against about the church but most importantly, it shows how a leader of a religious movement saw Jesus: in His real form. A man who radiated love and Grace. Ghandhi was all about a peaceful life and living in harmony with all men but the very people who claimed to follow the very embodiment of love failed to reflect the very person they claimed to follow. Crusaders killed people in the name of Jesus. Well, Chrisians might not kill today for the cause of Christ but the entitled nature of the present church are killing people's desire to like to follow Jesus. People in church feel that because they pray 5 hours, they need to be blessed by God than the next guy in line. That God loves them because they do good. God loves everyone. The fact that they are not like you doesn't mean God loves them less. He calls everyone to Himself.:)
