Yesterday, 25th of August 2026, Management of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, past leaders, the Madina Area Pastorate, family and friends gathered at the residence of Apostle James Ghartey Rtd. to celebrate this remarkable milestone, sharing in fellowship and offering prayers of thanksgiving and blessing.

As we honoured a life marked by faithful service and leadership, we celebrated not just the years, but the legacy that continues to live on.

Celebrating a true hero of faith! 🎉

Today, we celebrate Aps. Rtd. James Ghartey on his 99th birthday.

A distinguished servant of God whose years of faithful service have left an indelible mark on The Apostolic Church-Ghana. From serving as the 1st General Secretary (1985–1989) to 2nd Vice President (1991–1996), his life continues to speak of dedication, wisdom and unwavering faith.

May the Lord bless you with greater grace, renewed strength and abundant blessings as you mark this remarkable milestone.

TAC-GH Updates🗣️

Amidst an atmosphere of celebration, gratitude and anticipation, a new chapter in the leadership of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) was opened as Pastor Dr. Ebenezer Gyamera was inducted as the Council’s new General Secretary.

The ceremony, held on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC), Kokomlemle–Accra, brought together church leaders, representatives of member churches, ministers, family, friends and well-wishers to witness the formal transition and celebrate the new assignment.

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has marked a significant leadership transition as Apostle Immanuel Nii Okuley Tettey concluded his four-year tenure as General Secretary, with Pastor Dr. Ebenezer Gyamera taking over the mantle.

The Farewell and Induction Service, held on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC), Kokomlemle–Accra, brought together church leaders, ministers, representatives of member churches, family and well-wishers to celebrate a season of service and welcome a new chapter.

The transition holds special significance for The Apostolic Church-Ghana, as both leaders are ministers of the Church and have served Ghana’s largest ecumenical body.

TAC-GH celebrates Apostle Tettey for his dedicated service to the GPCC and welcomes Pastor Dr. Gyamera into his new assignment, praying for wisdom, strength and grace for the task ahead.

We are gathering to bid a warm farewell to our outgoing General Secretary, Apostle Immanuel N. O. Tettey, and officially induct our incoming General Secretary, Pastor Dr. Ebenezer Gyamera.

The youth are not merely the future; they are God’s heritage entrusted to us today. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior, they must be sharpened by God’s Word, guided by the Spirit, and intentionally equipped to fulfil His purpose.

As we celebrate National Youth Week, may we rise to the responsibility of investing in the next generation through prayer, discipleship, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities to serve God.
