Soul Revivers Dance Ministry [S.R.D.M] was formed in December 2011 by a group of young people from non-denominational churches with the passion to serve God through Dance Ministrations. Motto: SRDM -The Lord Is Our Strength
Our main source of strength is derived from Psalm 149:3 ( Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp)

“Shades of Praise”

( ) is all about glorifying our maker in more ways than one depending on the gifts inherent in each individual. Some are gifted to praise His name through song ministration and others through spoken word, drama and choreography. Thus Soul Revivers Dance Ministry (SRDM) birthed Shades of Praise in order to encompass all these and bring under one umbrella all individuals possessing these various gifts to glorify God.

In a short summary, the word "tehillah" is somewhat of a combination of all the previous words and meanings of praise!

Depending on its usage grammatically in the Bible, it refers to all kinds of praise 🕺🏻💃🏻 and worship activity. Tehillah involves music 🎶 and -especially singing. Singing 🎤 is vital to the worship of God.

There are over 300 Bible mandates to sing with this word alone showing up 56 times in the Old Testament. This word suggests that God himself is a song of praise. We might say it like this, “God is our song.”

So if Hallal is acting the fool in praise of God, then “Tahillah” is adding music to it.

ZAMAR means "to pluck the strings of an instrument 🎺 , to sing 🎤 , to praise 💃🏻🕺🏻; a musical word which is largely involved with joyful expressions of music with musical instruments.” We use Zamar when we are rejoicing after God has done something great for us.

Zamar inspires synchronized and orderly singing, thus adding precision to our worship. We can sing the same melody better with the accompaniment of an instrument 🎷 or group of instruments 🥁🎸🎻.

Hallal means "to make a show, rave, or boast even to the point of appearing foolish." It is the most common word for praise. It would relate to you at your favorite sports game screaming and carrying on.

When used in the Bible in reference to the praise of the Lord, it is said that the sun, moon, stars, heavens, waters, and all creation "boast" of the Lord most High, proclaiming His Name and His glory to all the earth.

Likewise we too, as humans, are called to boast of the Lord and His mighty works. Isaiah the prophet referenced this form of praise as being called for during times of festivals to the Lord.

Unfortunately, for most of us, if we shout and scream and brag on God we may be labeled as fanatics, as if something is wrong with us.
