Ever wonder why we wake up every morning? Ever wonder why some die and you get to live every day? Or you think its natural selection at work....LOL . You and I are no better than those that are gone. For death is just a permission away from us. Life can just seep out of your body in just seconds and this current breath could as well be our last.

These questions have always run through my mind but the answers all came to me when I saw a car knock someone off the road a long time ago. She died with not so much as a cry,..brains splattered all over the black asphalt. Perhaps she didn't even realize she was dead............ don't be sad......at all!!! That is how fragile our lives are.... walking with our chest's out, dissing those we want to diss and being too proud to mutter so much as I'm sorry brother, Sir or Madam. Don't think it can never happen to you because nobody wakes up with the thought the he/she will never see tomorrow.
We often think life is automatic but ask yourself do you ever know the exact time you sleep. I reckon the answer is NO.

The only reason why we wake every morning to a golden sunrise, the only reason why we see our friends everyday, the only reason why we get the chance to think about these question's is because God has given us one more chance to say.... Forgive Me Father. So if you have a chance today, just pause after reading this post and say a prayer to your Maker. For in doing that, you just might have just bought yourself a passport to Heaven. Don't let this pass. Read, Share and just don't forget to Pray.

Jeremiah 23:24
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.....Food for thought...

Each time, He tries to show his care, each time He tries to show value for us, each time He tries to lead us back into his fold.
He gives us our daily bread and does everything He can to demonstrate that He cares about us. And in return, all we do is spit in His face.
He could just say "Father, they do not deserve this. I'm not doing it anymore"
Afterall how can you show love to somebody over and over and over who constantly rejects you. God loves you even though you don't deserve it. Even after having spat in His face, He sent Jesus to die on the cross to take the punishment for your sins because He loves you.
Can't you see that you need Him? Can't you see that you need His forgiveness??
It is never too late to change your mind. Salvation has never been expensive it is only a decision away. No sin is too great to be forgiven.
We are all sinners wai and nobody is perfect.

He's Never Late
===============
John 11: 21-23 (1-44)
“Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if Thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever Thou wilt ask of God, God will give it Thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.”
=======================================================

Have you ever wondered why God waits for what seems too long to do a miracle?

We humans want security and we want it now. And sometimes we get impatient waiting.

God promised Abraham that he would be father of many nations and when year after year the promise didn't come true, Abraham had an illegitimate child. He was trying to help God out and it didn't work out for him.

Moses was promised that he would be the leader of Israel. When he was 40 years old, he took matters into his own hands and killed someone thinking the people would follow him. As a result, he fled to the desert and had to wait another 40 years for the miracle of his leadership to happen.

In both of those situations, God was proving that He is in control and no human problem, no earthly problem can get in the way of God's promise.

Martha, Mary and Lazarus learnt the same lesson too.

Jesus purposely delayed coming to them to prove to everyone that He is indeed Lord and Master of everything, even death.

Jesus arrived after he has been dead for 4 days and was buried.

Martha was upset with Him and said “If you had been here, he wouldn't have died!”

Jesus saw her sorrows and wept. He loved her so much, even though He knew that once their eyes are opened to His true power and the eternal message of the gospel, that death cannot hold us, even though in a few minutes they will not have any reason to cry, the Bible says: “Jesus wept.”

Don't think that we are cut off from God when we are in the middle of something that has gone completely wrong.

Don't believe for a minute that God does not care.

So often we believe that God didn't show up “on time” and it is too late.

And we wonder how we will survive. We keep thinking “this will take a miracle.”

And if a miracle is what God decides to do, then trust Him, He will.

God cares. It is never too late. Keep trusting in Him.

There are some people who never really cared about Heaven until they lost something valuable.

Sometimes, God brings a death, maybe between us and God, in order to give to us a new life.

And sometimes, bad things happen to good people.

Whatever God is doing, be assured of this. It is never too late.

If God doesn't give us what we think we need, that doesn't mean He doesn't love us. If we are weeping, He is weeping with us because He loves us.

Averagely, we are used to getting our own way. For the most part, some have the wealth and power to do it. But if we don't get our own way, that does not mean that God doesn't care.

He is never too late, even if it seems that way.

Just remember like He said in Isaiah 55:8-9 that "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Have a great day.

Teach Us To Number Our Days
===================
Text: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom"Psalm 90:12"
=======================================

How long have you got left? How many more times will your eyes flicker open in the morning as consciousness comes into focus? How many more breaths are going to flood your lungs with life-giving oxygen? How many more beats of your heart will pump that oxygen to your vital organs, until it stops for good?

Do you ever think about these things?
It is never guaranteed that you'll sleep and wake
Yesterday I lost one of my very best friends to the gaping jaws of death and it gave me the time to think of life from a whole new perspective.

He was just 19....had a whole life ahead of him...now he lays lifeless, cold and alone. I always lay a lot of emphasis on the fact that sometimes we get soo busy in with the intrinsics of life that we lose focus of what this whole life is about.

We need to be humbled by life's brevity, especially when it is not a known fact when any of us will go. It may be, it may be you. You may never read from this page again simply because the page owner is no more...you see how short life is??? You could smile with your bestfriend within the hour and the next hour he'll be gone.

Truth be told I used to fear death soo much but as the time passed and I grew older I came to realize that there are just a thousand ways to die.

Let us be very circumspect in the way we live our lives...because while I dont know what the next hour holds, you don't know it either...and that is what makes life what it is.

Have A Nice Evening

Somewhere in a lonely manger where leftovers gave a choky smell. A place where fresh grass and unfinished meals layed higgledy-piggledy all over the floor. In that cold corner salvation was born and given freely. For this reason, we were given a second chance; for He who experienced wretchedness at birth will give us a second chance before death's rays set a beam over us. We shall rejoice for in a manger was born a second chance! ~Becky~

Bible Over Coffee - - - Get Of The Speed Lane B4 You Crash
======================================

We live in a society where the people demand instant gratification! We want what we want and we want it right now! Nothing like waiting... but mind you, patience is listed among the Fruits of the Spirit in the Holy Scriptures so that makes impatience a Fruit of the Flesh. Our weird impatience for the little things that matter most in life has given birth to what we now call technology.

Right down from the little alarm clock in our bedrooms to the IPADs in our hands. Everything is getting simpler because we are impatient but like the saying goes "Man's wants are unlimited"...talk of the the Grinding stone Versus the Blender and the Typewriter Versus the IPAD. Even funnier is the fact that a computer that could fit into a whole building years ago can just slide into our pockets unnoticed today and we are still impatient... People involved in Sakawa.....and some of them proudly flashing their "Idol-Worshp Cards"

We are soo keen on making it in life that we ignore those things that matter most in our lives eg. our salvation. Need you be reminded that life wont go on forever and one day the heavens shall part and Christ shall come. There will be no speed lanes anymore just one lane for all of us to pass...The Lane Of Judgement.

That is only when you'll know how much you've ignored to get insignificantly soo much in life.

Just remember in summary that, that while we need to tend to the cares of this world...we shouldn't be soo engrossed with what we do that we forget we are just strangers passing through.

Have a great morning **Hy Priest**

Be Not Dismayed
==================
At the heart Isaiah 55 are the words; “My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways.”

To know what God is thinking or to know how God works is impossible for us to understand.
We like to live in control of our lives, immune from surprises and totally protected and then when things happen beyond our control we feel helpless and forsaken.

Marvelously enough we have a great God who looks beyond our faults and sees all our needs. More often than not we tend to interfere with God's plan for our lives by deliberately insisting on the choices we want.
The Bible is not just a book of historical precedents. It is a balm
to for every spiritual wound, a light for the darkness, and a blade to
cut down Satan's twigs and twine from our path.

The News was sent to Jesus -"Please come fast... Lazarus is sick and without your help he will not rise."
They waited so long for Jesus and he never came
Mary and Martha looked on as the breath seeped from their brother body.

Four days later Jesus arrived..and Martha said "Lord if you had been here...he would not have died". Jesus asked that the gravestone be rolled..He called out to Lazarus to come forth. You could imagine the shock on their faces when Lazarus clothed in his shawl came out from within the tomb.

You may be fighting a battle of fear and might have cried out to the Lord and He has not appeared...Friend!!! don't be discouraged for He'll soon be there to still your storm.

As you read this remember that...we have a God who looks beyond our faults and sees to our needs. It doesn't matter how long it takes for our ways are not His ways.

A blessed Night to you all. ~Hy Priest~

If I were you, I'd hug my friends tight.
If I were you, I'd call them up.
If I were you, I'd make up with them.
If I were you, I'd laugh with them.
The anguish of death is unquenchable
And his footsteps unforeseeable.
Loved ones are torn from loved ones
And best friends from best friends.
You never might know when that cold hands may come
or better still who they might touch.
It may be me, It may be you.
You never know when the ones you love might go.
So forget the past, live free and love all.
For when death comes
It isn't about the number of people who cry
But the number of people you'll miss when you are gone ~Hy Priest~

BIBLE OVER COFFEE-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he
any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:13
Many a times, we hear people say "I'm being tempted by God" and perhaps we do say it ourselves too...Truth be told God is a gracious God and therefore tempts no one rather, he suffers us to be tempted or simply, He allows us to be tempted to prove to the Devil how strong we are in Him.
The word "tempt," as you all know in the original language-means "to test,"-as in when you test a gun.
Bear in mind that human character may be tested with friendly feelings- to try its strength, or with hostile feelings- in order to show its weakness.
In the bad sense of the term God tempts no-body, but he suffers us to be tempted as He did to Job.
He never cursed Job??? He only allowed Him to be cursed to prove to Satan that His beloved Child was strong in Him. God will never allow you to be tempted when He knows full well you'll disappoint Him. When He allows you to be tempted it means he trusts that you wont disappoint Him.
Now the million-dollar question??? If God should deliver you up to be tempted?
1. Will He REJOICE or will He WEEP?
2. Will you STAND or will you SINK?
Ponder over this and remember that God never gives us anything He knows we cannot handle.
Have a blessed day and join us every morning for your daily dose of *** Bible Over Coffee.***
