Sunday 1st February, 2026

A Sunday dedicated to songs and hymn as divinely instructed. This moment satisfied the immediate need and lightened the heavy atmosphere.

Songs and hymns were offered as burnt offering and petition. Indeed the Lord inhabites the praise of His people, for we experienced Him in a different dimension.

Sunday 25th January2026
Theme: Walking With God
Ministering: Bro Segun
Bible Passage: Numbers 14:6

"Two cannot walk together unless they are in agreement," as Amos 3:3 states. When you don’t agree with God—truly seeing things as He sees them, hearing things as He hears them, and diligently doing things as He does—you will definitely encounter various challenges and discouraging situations. However, to walk faithfully on this journey, you need strong faith to command the mountains to move, and they will indeed move.

There is another level known as great faith; this kind of faith does not even allow you to perceive the mountain at all, or perhaps you may see it as a valley and confidently call it so.

Learn to walk not in fear, but instead in unwavering faith.**

Sunday 18th January, 2026
Theme : Understanding the theme: Following Him.
Bible Passage: 1 Corinthians 13: 1-3
Ministering: Pastor Ezekiel

True discipleship in Christ goes beyond mere identification as a Christian; it requires a heartfelt transformation and commitment to follow God sincerely. Understanding this journey involves several vital criteria:

The Foundations of Following God

1. Being Born Again: The journey begins with a spiritual rebirth. This transformation signifies an individual’s commitment to a life guided by God, moving beyond mere attendance at church to sincerely embracing His love.

2. Love: At the core of discipleship is love. Jesus taught that love is fundamental; without it, our faith becomes hollow. A true follower of Christ must carry this love in their heart, reflecting His character in all interactions.

3. Faith: Faith is not just belief; it’s trust in God's promises and His power. As Matthew 4:9 highlights, our faith propels us towards God’s calling, enabling us to walk in His ways despite uncertainties.

4. Sacrifice: Genuine faith often requires sacrifice, mirroring the ultimate sacrifice Christ made for us. As noted in Philippians 3:7, we must be willing to surrender what is comfortable and prioritize our relationship with God above all.

5. Prayer and Fasting: Establishing a routine of prayer and fasting is essential. This practice connects us with God, providing strength and guidance. Jesus emphasizes in Matthew 17:21 that some challenges can only be overcome through diligent prayer.

6. Endurance: The path of faith is not always easy. As described in Revelation 3:10, we must cultivate endurance to withstand trials and remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
Embracing the Journey

Choosing to follow Jesus marks a significant moment, creating a distinction between our lives and worldly temptations. It demands a willingness to embody love, nurture faith, make sacrifices, prioritize prayer, and persevere through adversity. By integrating these principles into our daily lives, we can genuinely live out our faith and reflect the transformative power of God in the world around us.

New Mindset, New You
Bible Reading: Romans 12:2
Ministring: Pastor Isaac Akeredolu

A new mindset is the sum total of your beliefs, attitudes, and assumptions that form the foundation for how you view the world and interact with others. However, christians are encouraged to transform their minds in order to align with God's will (Romans 12:2).

Your mindset equates to who you are. To follow Christ effectively, continuous renewal of your mind is essential.

How to Continuously Transform Your Mindset

1. Reject the Lie
Don't believe the notion that you cannot control your thoughts. God has empowered you to govern your mind (Joshua 1:8).

2. Resist Negative Thoughts
Combat negativity by filling your mind with the Word of God. Letting negative thoughts linger can lead to subconscious acceptance (Hebrews 2:18).

3. Cultivate Gratitude
Develop a habit of thankfulness. Focus on God's blessings to foster a positive mindset (Philippians 4:8).

4. Confess What You Believe
Speak God’s promises rather than your feelings. The tongue is powerful; proclaim good things in your life for renewal (Proverbs 18:21).

5. Celebrate Your Successes
Acknowledge even the smallest achievements. Celebrating progress contributes to your transformation (Zechariah 4:8-10).

6. Forgive Yourself
Don't let past mistakes define you. Seek God's mercy, let go of old burdens, and embrace a new beginning.

7. Focus on His Promises in 2026
Accept that some situations are beyond your control. Bring your concerns to God in prayer (Philippians 4:6-7).

A new mindset is crucial for realizing God's purpose in your life. By actively engaging in the practices above, you can foster continuous transformation, ensuring that your mind aligns with His will. Embrace the journey of renewal to experience the fullness of life God has planned for you.

Date: Sunday, 21st December 2035
Ministering: Pastor (Mrs) Lara Akeredolu
Theme: Treasure of the Season
Bible Passage: John 3:16

As we gather to celebrate the season of Christmas, we reflect on its true meaning—a remembrance of the birth of Christ. This year's theme is Treasure of the Season. The term "treasure" refers to the precious things and people we value deeply and cannot afford to lose.

In John 3:16, we find a beautiful illustration of this treasure: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son." Jesus is our ultimate gift, a treasure that brings profound peace, joy, rest, and love into our lives. As noted in Matthew 1:21, He was sent to save us from our sins, making His presence an invaluable treasure for all.

In receiving this treasure—Jesus Christ—we open ourselves to countless blessings. He not only enriches our lives but also protects the things we hold dear. This season encourages us to recognize the depth of His love and the gifts He brings.

Let us remember that by embracing Him, we not only accept our greatest treasure but also unlock the treasures He has in store for us. May we cherish this gift and let it transform our hearts and lives throughout the season and beyond.

Theme: The Grace To Overcome Temptation
Bible Passage: Luke 4:2
Ministering: Pastor Ezekiel

Reflection

In our journey of faith, facing temptation is not just inevitable; it's essential. As James 1:2-3 reminds us, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." Temptations are meant for our growth, not to drag us down. They refine us, shaping us for our desired outcome.

As believers, it's crucial to seek divine wisdom during these trying times. Remember, Jesus Himself endured temptation, providing us with comfort and guidance in our struggles. We are not alone in this journey; others have walked this path.

Key Takeaways

1. Embrace Trials: View temptations as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks.
2. Seek God's Wisdom: In times of temptation, turn to God for strength and guidance.
3. Count it Joy: Acknowledge that every challenge is a part of the refining process.

1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us that God will not let us down; He provides the grace we need to navigate through our challenges. Let us hold this truth close to our hearts.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant us the grace to overcome temptation. Fill us with Your wisdom and strength, that we may navigate our trials with joy and perseverance. Amen.

Sunday, 7th December 2025
Theme: Barriers to Moving Forward
Bible Passage: Exodus 14:10-15*
Ministering: Pastor Isaac Akeredolu

Moving forward means forgetting the past and finding strength in God's Word rather than remaining stagnant. It signifies a shift in position toward something new. However, this journey comes with several barriers:

# Barriers to Moving Forward

1. Being an Enemy of God
*Scripture James 4:4
When your actions and desires contradict God's will and align with the ways of the world (such as lust, greed, and wickedness), you become an enemy of God. This mindset limits your ability to move forward.

2. Fear of the Unknown
Scripture Matthew 8:8-10
Allowing fear of the unknown and uncertain future to dictate your actions can paralyze your progress.

3. Reluctance to Move Beyond the Comfort Zone
Scripture James 1:3
Don’t give up at the first signs of hindrance. Challenges are integral to God's plan for pushing you forward.

4. Refusal to Let Go of the Past
Scripture Philippians 3:13-14
Clinging to unpleasant memories of the past while expecting to move forward is impossible.

5. Unprofitable Associations
Scripture Genesis 14:13
Every association impacts you. It either contributes to your progress or causes regression.

# Proposed Solutions to Each Barrier

1. Acknowledge God's Presence
Allow God's presence to guide you, rather than conforming to worldly standards.

2. Believe in God's Word and Promises
Scripture Numbers 13:30
Trust in God's promises, as they are a foundation for your faith.

3. Trust in God Enough to Move Forward
Scripture 1 Samuel 17:49
Have confidence in God’s backing as you take steps toward your future.

4. Let Go of the Past and Look Forward
Scripture Philippians 3:13
Learn to say "goodbye" to anything that hinders your progress.

5. Separate from Unprofitable Associations
Scripture 2 Kings 7:6
Distancing yourself from negative influences is crucial for your growth.

Sunday 30th November , 2025
Theme: Buy The Future
Bible Passage: Proverbs 23:23
Ministering: Pastor Marshall Alozie

In general, there are markets to trade all things but no physical place to buy essentials like the truth, wisdom, instructions etc,

Everyone has the potency to have the future desired but you need to buy it , and talking about buying the future, we are talking about sowing seeds and getting to pay for things that will better our lives. Hence, the need to invest in the present to harvest in the future. Gens 8:22.

As a young fellow, you need to plan life, take risk, and stay in the boxing ring of life, throw and trade blows if only you want to emerge champion. John 9 : 4 , you must understand that you are limited by time and you have to take davantage now.
