Living for God by Rev Fred Appiah
Snippets📝
Starting a new journey comes with impending potholes and distractions(challenges, difficulties, storms, etc) on its way.
As a true Christian, HOOKING ON TO GOD is very crucial and important in navigating the storms, challenges, and difficulties in life.
Also, being spiritual and walking uprightly on your new journey of life activates the divine presence, glory, grace, and protection of God. The Psalmist says, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."(Psalms 84:11).
Secondly, THINK POSITIVELY. King Solomon once said, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. (Proverbs 23:7). The law of attraction also states that, “Positive thoughts bring positive outcomes while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes”.
In Conclusion, as a true Christian, you must always PRESS TOWARD THE MARK. In other words, forget the past(negative outcomes), and move forward with faith, hope, and absolute dependence on God.
Paul the Apostle once said, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."(Philippians 4:8).
