AFOC - Attaining the Fullness of Christ The Attaining the Fullness of Christ (AFOC - pronounced ‘afork’) Programme was set up to meet the needs of final year pupils in the JHS.

The Attaining the Fullness of Christ (AFOC - pronounced ‘afork’) Programme was set up in 1997 to meet the needs of final year pupils in the JHS (formerly JSS) preparing to enter second cycles institutions. Its season begins with the coordinating of free lessons or classes well ahead of time for the pupils to complement what is taught in their respective schools. This becomes critical as some stude

nts may not be adequately prepared due to lower levels of teaching in their schools caused by well-known problems still endemic in the Ghanaian education system. The classes therefore reduce the academic handicaps of some students especially in the core subjects, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
