Being scared of what people’s reaction will be about knowing the truth makes people like to coil themselves into things that most times brings regret and reproach .Samson had a task per what he did from his point of view he knew what he was doing because it was his life and as he led the people of God what ever that made him ok was far better yes he ended up in the hands of his enemies because of his weaknesses .i am no exception u might not be one now but we all have our weaknesses one way or the other like I said in my earlier post that am sorrowed for so many things and the regret is very real . All I want is the forgiveness of God ,wife and family with no justification . When Samson was overwhelmed with regret he was ok if he died but had to fulfill his call and make it work as he was I have said a lot and there is more to come but please turn to God he can help u not any man hmmmmm I have done things oooooooo if am to tell u and let u see the depth at which the church is losing its youth into so many dressed evil that looks nice and ok to even the church one will have no idea I have had my share and thank God for strength and the right means to finish my task @ Hodosmag just for u

It might seem not good from the beginning till date but what we should know is we have a Father who never relents on His promises. Yours might not be before , within but after don't worry it will surely come remember the case of Joseph whose brothers thought they were killing his future went through a lot yet he got there trust me when I say this " the devil can only try and he knows he has lost even before he started trying " he knew in the issue of Job and yours is no news to him . God says i should tell u don't worry but all He has promised u will get to you whether u like it or yes

WHO IS AN UNBELIEVER??

Many people regard themselves as believers, but it is just by their expression not by their actions. Justify your status in Christ only through His Principles which is the word of God.

WHO IS AN UNBELIEVER?
1. A person that cause division and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned.
Romans 16:17.

A person who know not that He (God) which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise us also by Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:14.

3. A person who cannot worship God in spirit and have confidence in the flesh.
Philippians 3:3.

The last but not the least of our studies today is...

4. A person who perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth.
1 Timothy 6:5.

These are the words of God. Now are we BELIEVERS OR UNBELIEVERS???
If yes, glory be to God and if no, glory be to God as well because His word does not come to condemn us but to make us better people in Him, so there is a chance for remedy and repentance through His word.

PRAYER
Father I thank you for my life and your word.
I thank you for a chance of repentance and your remedy to become a true Believer in Jesus Precious name Amen.

Praise the Lord
@ . Jason

Your Rain of Blessings has come this new month Receive it in Jesus name!!!🙌🏽

Being a good person is like being a goalkeeper. No matter how many goals you save, people will still remember only the one goal you missed. Never worry about how ungrateful some people might be, for God himself knows your work and will reward you accordingly. Learn from a candle which burn itself, lightening the ways of others. Live in such a way that even if you die, you will always be alive in the great memories of others that appreciate things.
Good morning

How do I let God take control of my life?
Asked by Troy

I recently joined a church in my local area and made the decision to become a Christian after spending time with our Pastor, where we read through and studied the ‘Christianity Explained’ text / course work. I really enjoyed this process, however, I am now struggling with the constant thoughts of how do I allow God to take over the control of my life.

I am a control-oriented person, and working in finance, so the current global crisis is an everyday pressure that I am managing but feel that I cannot reconcile God’s purpose in this environment. I know that He is working in me and forcing me to ask these questions of myself, hence my unsettled feelings, however, I feel as though I have not yet made the decision (each day) to relinquish control of my life.

On paper I am a Christian and outwardly others would probably recognize Christian-like traits in my recently changed behaviors, but in my heart I still struggle with letting go and REALLY BELIEVING that He is looking out for me. This is a scary and unknown place for me as I am generally very guarded as to who I let into my life, as my wife and 3 kids will recognize. I know something has to change, but I’m not sure what / how.

Any words of courage / wisdom or reference material that you could recommend ?

Hi Troy,

Great news about becoming a Christian. I reckon the struggle to trust God with life can be a big issue, as you’re finding out. But the thing to remember is that our God is a very big God, and has all things under His control. That includes big things like the financial crisis and the little things like how we live our lives. You might have heard the phrase “let go and let God”. Some people think that this is the way we as Christians ought to understand the Christian life - we give up ourselves and let God control it all. However this is very simplistic and problematic, to say the least.

Rom 12:1-2 is helpful at this point. True worship is to give up our lives for God, that is to live for Him alone. God calls us to lie in obedience to him. That doesn’t involve relinquishing control, but rather letting God’s plans and purposes shape the things we do. Our minds aren’t switched off, but rather transformed and renewed by God, and so we become aware of the new way God wants us to live. This takes self control and action.

True faith is not meandering aimlessly and seeing where “God” would have us drift. Instead true faith is seeing the path God wants us to take, with its dangers and hardships and joys and toil, and deciding to follow that path to please our heavenly father. The Bible speaks very highly, not of a lack of control, but of the great worth of self control. (2 Peter 1:6, Gal 5:23)

In the end Christian living is about changing your focus - rather than living for the world, using all your energies to achieve the things YOU want to achieve, you live for God, having your mind and focus changed day by day so that you (more and more) use all your energies to achieve the things HE wants to achieve. As this process of the “renewing of the mind” continues, so what God wants slowly becomes what you want as well. So becoming a Christian means that we no longer use the control we can exert to promote our own agenda, but God’s agenda: praising Him, sharing His gospel and loving both our brother and our neighbour. (Heb. 13:15, 1 Peter 3:15, Mk 12:29-31)

Now that’s not to say its not a struggle. Our lives will always be a struggle to say “no” to our old way of life and its temptations and setting our hearts and minds on the new way of life. This struggle will not end until we are with him in heaven. But God is there working in you according to his plans and purposes (Phil 2:12-13) - so hang in there!

I hope this helps. Feel free to come back if I’ve missed the mark.

Ian.
