Yesterday marked the climax of our Prayerfest, themed "My Prayer Will Avail Much," with James 5:16 serving as the anchor scripture. The service was dedicated entirely to prayer, creating an atmosphere of spiritual intensity and earnest seeking of God's presence.

The congregation gathered in one accord to pray fervently over personal lives, families, the church, and the nation. Members were encouraged by the assurance from Scripture that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous is powerful and produces results. Throughout the service, passionate prayers were offered, and there was a strong sense of faith, unity, and expectation among the worshippers.

The service ended on a powerful note, with believers leaving refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened in their commitment to prayer. It was a fitting conclusion to the Prayerfest, reminding everyone that sincere and persistent prayer truly avails much.

Today’s Communion Service was a powerful and reflective time in the presence of God as we received a timely message titled, “A Journey of No Return.” Drawing lessons from Matthew 16:21–23 and Luke 9:22, we were reminded of Jesus' unwavering commitment to His divine assignment despite the suffering, rejection, and sacrifice that lay ahead of Him. His journey to the cross was a journey of obedience, purpose, and no turning back.

The message challenged believers to adopt the same mindset of total commitment to Christ. As followers of Jesus, we are called to remain steadfast in our faith journey, refusing to be distracted, discouraged, or drawn back by the pressures and pleasures of the world. Just as Christ was determined to fulfill His mission, we too must remain focused on God's purpose for our lives.

The Communion Service served as a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of Christ and the new covenant established through His body and blood. As we partook of the Communion, we renewed our commitment to walk faithfully with Him, embracing a journey of faith, obedience, and spiritual growth a journey of no return.

Today’s Ministries Week celebration, observed as Gospel Sunday, featured an enriching and highly interactive Bible Study session centered on the topic, “The Goal of the New Life for All People.” with the main text taken from John 14:6. Members actively engaged in discussions, answered questions, shared insights, and reflected on what it truly means to receive and live the life of Christ.
The study emphasized that true life is found only in Jesus Christ and not in worldly possessions or pleasures. Members were reminded that every believer is called to be a witness of Christ through both their words and actions, and that evangelism is a shared responsibility of the entire Church. The interactive nature of the session created a vibrant atmosphere of learning, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the New Life and their role in sharing the gospel with others.
It was a refreshing and impactful time of fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth as we were challenged to live out the life of Christ and intentionally reach others with the message of salvation.

Key Lessons from the Study
1. The New Life is the Life of Christ in us.
o Real life comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ, not through material possessions.
2. A person in Christ becomes a new creation.
o The old sinful life is replaced by a new life guided by the Holy Spirit.
3. The fruits of the New Life are visible.
o Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control should characterize believers.
4. The New Life must be shared with everyone.
o Every person needs to hear the gospel and have the opportunity to receive Christ.
5. Every Christian is a witness.
o Evangelism is not only the pastor's responsibility; every believer should share their faith.
6. The Church must work together in evangelism.
o Unity among Christians helps ensure that the gospel reaches more people.
7. Evangelism should be done intentionally and systematically.
o Good planning helps the Church reach people effectively.
8. The time to preach the gospel is now.
o Many people need freedom and hope, and Jesus is the source of true life.

Memory Verses
- 1 John 5:12 – “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
- AJohn 20:31 – “...that believing you may have life in His name.”

Main Takeaway
True life is found only in Jesus Christ, and every Christian has the responsibility to live it, share it, and help others experience it.

Today’s service during our Pentecost Week was a truly powerful and life-transforming encounter in God’s presence. The theme for the day, “Desire to Relive the Pentecostal Experience,” was drawn from Acts 1:4, 8, 14; Acts 2:1–4; and Acts 4:31–34. Through the Word, we were reminded that the Pentecostal experience was not only for the early church, but remains a reality every believer should desire and pursue. Just as the disciples waited in unity, prayer, and expectation, we were challenged to hunger for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The service atmosphere was filled with deep worship, fervent prayers, and a strong sense of God’s presence. As the message was ministered, we learned that the Holy Spirit empowers believers with boldness, spiritual revival, unity, and grace to live transformed lives. Hearts were stirred, faith was strengthened, and many were refreshed as we were reminded that a Spirit-filled life is essential in fulfilling God’s purpose and standing firm in today’s world.

Indeed, it was a powerful and impactful service that reignited our passion for God and deepened our desire to experience Him afresh. As we continue through this Pentecost Week, may we remain steadfast in prayer, united in faith, and open to the move of the Holy Spirit. May the fire of Pentecost continue to burn in our hearts as we live boldly for Christ and reflect His power and glory in all we do. 🔥🙏
