Spiritual Growth 1

It is very paramount in our Christian walk with God to strive for spiritual growth and maturity. We must at all cost seek for growth to attain perfection to be one with Christ Jesus. In other words, if one meets another brother or sister in Christ, all must have a dimension of Him whom they have had encounters with to show same qualities and character.
Any church that does not preach spiritual growth and see to it that the members are growing is a time bomb ready to explode. That church is filled with babies who are unskilled in spiritual things but holding sensitive positions. Such a church, anyone that strives to grow is seen as a "too known or an enemy" and will be persecuted. Such a church might be praying very well but their prayer points depicts whether they are grown or immatured. They might be preaching well but their preaching topics makes it evident that they are unskilled in the word of righteousness.
Lack of maturity is killing the body of Christ in our dispensation. Lots of carnal acts hits our pulpits every day and makes the church a mockery to the worldly people.
1 John 2:12-14 (KJV)
12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
John the Apostle made it clear in his submission in the above scripture that there are little children, young men and fathers.
It is a little child that strives to overcome sin and needs always the forgiveness of sins.
Young men have strived to grow from being captives to sin to the level of overcoming the wicked one through the word of God which is abiding in them and fathers have entered into the depths and realms of knowledge of Him this they are able to give deeper understanding and revelations bringing Him from the spiritual to manifest in the physical.
Strive to grow up in God to overcome the wicked one through the Word. Don't be a baby in Christ because babies are only take in the milk of the word according to Hebrews 5:13; Hebrews 5:13 (KJV)
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Grow up in God and be Empowered in His Word.
