GLORY ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL
Day 148 (Thu. May 28, 2026)

Wisdom For Covenant Practice
Apostle Ernest Ohene

“Kingdom abundance is not only a promise to confess, but a covenant wisdom to practice.”

James 1:22 (KJV) “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.”

God’s covenant of abundance is more than a promise to confess through prayer and fasting alone. It is a covenant wisdom that must be practiced daily. This is a required feature of the covenant of abundance and prosperity. Through Christ, believers have become heirs of Abraham’s covenant blessings, but those blessings manifest through obedience, hard work and diligence, giving, stewardship, and action. God promised Abraham blessing and increase in Genesis 12:1–3. Yet Abraham did not only pray; he obeyed God, moved when instructed, practiced generosity, and walked by faith consistently. Covenant abundance therefore requires practical obedience.

Prayer and fasting bring revelation, spiritual strength, and direction. However, they alone cannot produce the full manifestation of abundance without corresponding actions (James 2:17, 21-24). Prayer may reveal the seed to sow and give grace to nurture what God has placed in your hands. Jesus taught in Matthew 13:11–12 that kingdom mysteries work progressively. Not every key opens every door. Faith, prayer, obedience, diligence, wisdom, generosity, and stewardship must work together for lasting kingdom prosperity.

PRACTICAL KEYS
Beloved, here is how to practice covenant abundance:
1. Combine prayer with obedience: Genesis 12:4 “So Abram departed.” Abraham moved when God spoke.
2. Practice covenant principles daily: Galatians 3:29 “heirs according to the promise.” Walk in giving, diligence, stewardship, and faith consistently.
3. Apply multiple kingdom keys together: Matthew 13:11 “it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom.” Prayer, wisdom, faith, and action must work together.
4. Act on revelation received: James 1:22 “be ye doers of the word.” Revelation without practice produces little manifestation.

PRACTICE MOMENT
Pray
Father, help me to practice Your covenant wisdom faithfully every day, in Jesus’ name.

Declare in Faith
I declare that I walk in wisdom, obedience, diligence, and covenant practice. God’s abundance manifests in my life.

Reflect
Am I practicing the principles I pray about?
Do faith and obedience work together in my life?

Quote of the Day: “Covenant abundance manifests where revelation and practice work together.”

Pray to Receive Salvation
Father, thank You for Jesus Christ who died and rose again for me. I confess Him as Lord and receive eternal life, in Jesus’ name.

Pray to be Filled with the Spirit
Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit to speak in new tongues and walk in His power. Holy Spirit enable me to walk in wisdom, obedience, and faithful covenant practice, in Jesus’ name.

GLORY ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL
Day 146 (Tue. May 26, 2026)

Christ the Guarantor of the Covenant of Abundance
Apostle Ernest Ohene

“The covenant of abundance is secured by God through Christ, and believers become beneficiaries in Him.”
Hebrews 7:22 (KJV) “By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.”

Like any other aspects of the new covenant grace in Christ, God the Father is the Covenanter and Jesus Christ is the guarantor of the covenant of abundance for you. Believers who are in Christ become beneficiaries of its promises, blessings, and inheritance. This means kingdom prosperity is rooted in God’s faithfulness and Christ’s finished work, and not in your own effort. Hebrews 7:22 says Jesus became the “surety” of a better covenant. A surety is one who guarantees the fulfillment of an agreement. Because this covenant is established in Christ, believers cannot cancel God’s covenant purpose through weakness or failure. However, believers must understand and practice covenant principles to enjoy its benefits fully. Ignorance, unbelief, and disobedience can hinder manifestation of blessings even though the covenant itself remains secure in Christ.

Genesis 8:20–22 reveals God’s covenant of seedtime and harvest after Noah offered sacrifice unto the Lord. God declared that as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest would continue. Genesis 9:1–2 also reveals covenant blessings of fruitfulness, multiplication, increase, and dominion. Beloved, the blessings of God are sure in your life in Christ. Kingdom prosperity is not just a church doctrine. It is an eternal covenant reality established by God and guaranteed through Christ.

PRACTICAL KEYS
Beloved, here is how to walk in God’s covenant of abundance:
1. Trust Christ as the guarantor of the covenant: Hebrews 7:22 “Jesus was made a surety.” Depend on Christ’s finished work more than your failures or limitations.
2. Understand covenant principles: Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Study God’s Word concerning giving, stewardship, obedience, and faith.
3. Practice seedtime and harvest consistently: Genesis 8:22 “seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.” Like Noah, honor God through faithful giving and worship.
4. Walk in covenant obedience: Deuteronomy 28:1–2 “if thou shalt hearken diligently.” Obedience positions believers for the manifestation of prosperity

PRACTICE MOMENT
Pray
Father, empower me to understand and walk faithfully in Your covenant of abundance through Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name.

Declare in Faith
I declare that I am a covenant beneficiary in Christ. I walk in fruitfulness, increase, and kingdom abundance.

Reflect
Do I understand God’s covenant principles for prosperity?
Am I practicing covenant principles consistently?

Quote of the Day: “The covenant of abundance is secured in Christ and manifested through covenant understanding and practice.”

Pray to Receive Salvation
Father, thank You for Jesus Christ who died and rose again for me. I confess Him as Lord and receive eternal life. I am a new creation in Christ,, in Jesus’ name.

Pray to be Filled with the Spirit
Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit to speak in tongues and walk in His anointing. Holy Spirit enable me walk in faith, obedience, and covenant understanding, in Jesus’ name.

FURTHER STUDY
Hebrews 7:22 | Genesis 8:20–22 | Genesis 9:1–2

Key Word Insight (Greek)
Surety comes from the Greek word engyos, meaning “guarantor” or one who secures an agreement.

Church History Illustration
Hudson Taylor trusted God’s covenant faithfulness for missions in China, and God continually supplied workers, finances, and provision for the ministry.

Science Illustration
A legal guarantee gives assurance that an agreement will be fulfilled. Likewise, Christ guarantees God’s covenant promises to believers.

PROPHETIC BLESSING
I decree that you will walk in deeper understanding and manifestation of God’s covenant of abundance, in Jesus’ name.

GLORY ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL
Day 141 (Thu. May 21, 2026)

Kingdom Vision of Prosperity
Apostle Ernest Ohene

“You cannot arrive at a future you cannot see through God’s Word.”
Genesis 13:14–15 “And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever”

Lasting kingdom prosperity requires possessing God’s vision instead of a worldly vision of wealth. Many pursue prosperity only for comfort or survival within this world system, but God’s prosperity plan is connected to kingdom dominion, influence, generosity, and fulfilling His purposes. Without spiritual understanding, people may desire increase yet lack God’s direction for their future. God told Abraham, “Lift up now thine eyes, and look…” Before Abraham possessed the land physically, he first had to see it spiritually. Vision comes before possession. Abraham’s vision was rooted in God’s covenant promise, while Lot chose prosperity by natural sight and temporary advantage, and eventually lost everything.

Jesus revealed this principle in Luke 9:16 when He took the five loaves and two fishes and “ looked up to heaven” (anablepō). Instead of depending on limited earthly resources, He focused on heaven’s unlimited supply. This is the recovering of sight from dependence on worldly systems to confidence in God’s economy. In Luke 4:18, Jesus declared that He came to give “recovering of sight to the blind” (anablepsis) meaning receiving sight again or looking upward spiritually. Deuteronomy 15:6 reveals God’s covenant picture of prosperity: “thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow.” When you have divine vision, you will enjoy divine provision. Beloved, shift from the world’s way of prospering to the kingdom way of prospering. No one arrives at a future he cannot see. Vision empowers your faith, direction, discipline and actions.

PRACTICAL KEYS
Beloved, here is how to develop a kingdom vision of prosperity instead of a worldly one:
1. See your future through God’s Word: Genesis 13:15 (KJV) “all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it.” Build your vision from Scripture instead of worldly standards.
2. Recover your sight to God’s economy: Luke 9:16 (KJV) “looking up to heaven he blessed them and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude”. Shift your dependence from earthly limitation to heaven’s abundance. Use what God has given you in faith and watch it multiply
3. Seek spiritual understanding continually: Proverbs 13:15 (KJV) “Good understanding giveth favour.” Ask God for wisdom concerning His prosperity plan.
4. Act on the vision God gives you: Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV) “Write the vision, and make it plain.” Vision becomes powerful when it directs your daily decisions.

PRACTICE MOMENT

Pray
Father, recover my spiritual sight and help me see my future through Your kingdom vision, in Jesus’ name.

Declare in Faith
I declare that my eyes are fixed on God’s prosperity for me and His economy and not worldly limitation.

Reflect
Am I seeing prosperity through God’s covenant or worldly systems?
What vision is directing my decisions daily?

Quote of the Day: “You cannot possess a future you refuse to see through God’s Word.”

Pray to Receive Salvation
Father, thank You for Jesus Christ who died and rose again for me. I confess Him as Lord and receive eternal life. I am a new creation in Christ, in Jesus’ name.

Pray to be Filled with the Spirit
Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit to speak in tongues and walk in His anointing. Holy Spirit, enable me to walk in spiritual understanding and kingdom vision for the God-kind of prosperity, in Jesus’ name.

FURTHER STUDY
Deuteronomy 8:11–18 | Luke 9:12–17 | Luke 4:18 | Deuteronomy 15:6

Key Word Insight (Greek)
Anablepsis means “recovery of sight, restoration of vision, or seeing again.” It speaks of restoring spiritual perception and lifting one’s eyes upward again.

Church History Illustration
David Livingstone carried a kingdom vision for Africa beyond personal comfort, and that vision opened territories for the Gospel and transformed generations.

Science Illustration
An architect first creates a blueprint before constructing a building. Likewise, believers must first receive God’s vision inwardly before building it outwardly.

PROPHETIC BLESSING
I decree that God will recover your spiritual sight and reveal His kingdom vision for your prosperity and future in His kingdom, in Jesus’ name.

GLORY ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL
Day 140 (Wed. May 20, 2026)

Absolute Faith in God’s Goodness
Apostle Ernest Ohene

“Faith for prosperity rises when you become convinced that God is truly good and willing to provide for you.”

3 John 2 (KJV) “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Many believers struggle to receive God’s provision because they secretly doubt God’s willingness to prosper them. Kingdom prosperity is activated when you exercise absolute faith in God’s goodness. Once you truly believe God is good and desires your well-being, faith rises in your heart to receive supernatural provision, opportunities, and abundance. Rev. Kenneth Hagin once shared a humorous story about a man on a ship voyage who survived on cracker biscuits because he thought he could not afford meals on board. At the end of the trip, he discovered breakfast, lunch, and supper had already been included in the ticket price. Likewise, many believers live below God’s provision because they do not realise what Christ has already made available for them through grace.

God said in _Psalm 81:10, “open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.” Faith in a good and giving God unlocks generosity, supernatural supply, and kingdom prosperity. Paul taught that the giving grace causes believers to abound in generosity and provision (2 Cor. 8:1–7; 9:6–8). Faith in God’s grace to provide is greater than dependence on natural supply systems alone. Jehoshaphat declared, “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper” (2 Chron. 20:20). In God’s kingdom order, He places spiritual leaders, apostolic and prophetic voices over believers to minister covering, training, and direction which flows from Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church (Ephesians 4:11-13). This does not replace the Holy Spirit, but reveals God’s system for spiritual growth and prosperity.

PRACTICAL KEYS
Beloved, here is how to walk in faith for kingdom prosperity:
1. Believe in God’s willingness to prosper you: 3 John 2 (KJV) “I will above all things that thou mayest prosper.” Reject every mindset that portrays God as unwilling to care for your needs.
2. Develop faith in God’s supernatural supply: Psalm 81:10 (KJV) “open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.” Expect God to provide beyond natural limitations.
3. Walk in the giving grace: 2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJV) “he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” Generosity activates supernatural increase.
4. Honor God’s spiritual order: 2 Chronicles 20:20 (KJV) “believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” Receive and practice godly instruction, direction and training with humility.

PRACTICE MOMENT
Pray
Father, help me to believe deeply in Your goodness and provision. Remove fear, doubt, and limitation from my heart, in Jesus’ name.

Declare in Faith
I declare that God is good and willing to prosper my life. I walk in supernatural supply, generosity, and kingdom abundance.

Reflect
Do I truly believe God desires my well-being?
Am I trusting God more and walking in faith than relying on natural systems?

Quote of the Day: “Faith rises to lay hold on prosperity in God where the heart becomes convinced of God’s goodness.”

Pray to Receive Salvation
Father, thank You for Jesus Christ who died and rose again for me. I confess Him as Lord and receive eternal life. I am a new creation in Christ, in Jesus’ name.

Pray to be Filled with the Spirit
Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit to speak in new tongues and walk in His anointing. Holy Spirit help me trust fully in God’s goodness and supernatural provision, in Jesus’ name.

FURTHER STUDY
3 John 2 | 2 Corinthians 8:1–7 | 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 | 2 Chronicles 20:20

Key Word Insight (Greek)
Prosper in 3 John 2 comes from the Greek word euodoō, meaning “to succeed, thrive, flourish, or have a good journey.”

Church History Illustration
John G. Lake trusted strongly in God’s goodness and provision, and God supplied healing miracles, ministry workers, missions influence, and resources that impacted multitudes in Africa and beyond.

Science Illustration
A seed grows when it continually receives water and sunlight. Likewise, faith flourishes when believers continually receive and believe God’s promises.

PROPHETIC BLESSING
I decree that every wrong mindset about God’s goodness is broken from your life. May your faith rise to receive supernatural provision, generosity, and kingdom prosperity, in Jesus’ name.

GLORY ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL (GED)
Day 139 (Tue. May 19, 2026)

Kingdom First Existence
Apostle Ernest Ohene

“Kingdom prosperity begins when God’s agenda becomes your highest pursuit.”

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Many desire prosperity, but neglect God’s pattern for lasting increase which begins with kingdom-first living. Kingdom prosperity flows to those who prioritize God’s will, righteousness, and agenda above personal ambition. When believers seek God first and invest in His purposes, He releases provision, favor, influence, and abundance into their lives.

Jehoshaphat sought the Lord and walked in His commandments instead of the corrupt ways of Israel. Because he honored God first, “the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand,” and he had “riches and honour in abundance” (2 Chron. 17:3–6). Hezekiah also prospered because he served God wholeheartedly in the work of His house (2 Chron. 31:20–21). God blessed him greatly with riches and success, yet pride nearly brought judgment until he humbled himself before God (2 Chron. 32:25–30). Uzziah likewise prospered as long as he sought the Lord, but when he became strong, pride lifted his heart and led to his destruction (2 Chron. 26:5,15–16).

These examples reveal an important spiritual law: prosperity follows kingdom pursuit, but pride corrupts prosperity. God prospers those who seek Him first, walk in obedience, and remain committed to His purposes. However, prosperity becomes dangerous when success replaces dependence on God. True kingdom prosperity is not merely about possessing wealth, but about remaining surrendered to God while He blesses your life.

PRACTICAL KEYS
Beloved, here is how to walk in kingdom prosperity continually:
1. Seek God’s Kingdom first: Matthew 6:33 (KJV) “seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” Make God’s will, prayer, righteousness, and kingdom service your highest pursuit daily.
2. Serve God wholeheartedly: 2 Chronicles 31:21 (KJV) “he did it with all his heart, and prospered.” Commit your strength, resources, and abilities sincerely to God’s work.
3. Remain humble as God prospers you: 2 Chronicles 32:26 (KJV) “Hezekiah humbled himself.” Never allow success, wealth, or influence to replace your dependence on God.
4. Use prosperity for kingdom purpose: Genesis 12:2 (KJV) “thou shalt be a blessing.” Let your prosperity advance God’s work and bless others.

PRACTICE MOMENT
Pray
Father, align my heart with Your Kingdom priorities. Help me to seek You first and remain humble as You prosper my life, in Jesus’ name.

Declare in Faith
I declare that God’s Kingdom is my highest pursuit. My prosperity will glorify God and become a blessing to others.

Reflect
Is God truly first in my pursuits and decisions?
Does prosperity draw me closer to God?

Quote of the Day: “Prosperity is sustained when God remains first in your heart and life.”

Holy Spirit help me walk in humility, obedience, and kingdom purpose, in Jesus’ name.

FURTHER STUDY
Matthew 6:31-33 | 2 Chronicles 17:3–6 | 2 Chronicles 31:20–21 | 2 Chronicles 26:5–16

Key Word Insight (Greek)
First in Matthew 6:33 comes from the Greek word prōton, meaning “first in priority, first in rank, chief, foremost, or before all else.” Jesus was teaching that God’s Kingdom and righteousness must take the highest place in the believer’s life above every personal ambition, need, or pursuit

Church History Illustration
Aimee Semple McPherson prioritized prayer, evangelism and God’s work, and God blessed her ministry with Angelus Temple, widespread radio outreach, healing revivals, missions impact, and resources to reach multitudes.

Science Illustration
A tree flourishes when its roots continually draw nourishment from the soil. Likewise, believers prosper spiritually and materially when rooted in God’s Kingdom purpose.

PROPHETIC BLESSING
I decree that as you seek God first, the Lord will release provision, favor, influence, and lasting prosperity into your life. May your heart remain humble and fully surrendered to Him, in Jesus’ name.
