evangelist and apologist of the faith.
in today's presentation we are going to look at several evidence that should convince you as a christian to know that the faith that you have professing is the truth. so if someone ask you that why is it that there is soo many religion in the world but you chose to become a christian,
why are you not a Muslim?
why are you not a Jewish?
why are you not a Buddhist?
why are you not a Hindu?
why are you not a seek?
why are you not a gene?
there are soo many religion in the world today.
Jainism which was founded by Mahavira, Seekism which was founded by Guru Nanak. Confucianism which was founded by Confucius.
Buddhism which was founded by Sihata Galdama.
Judaism which was founded by Moses.
Christianity which was founded by Jesus Christ.
Islam which was founded by Mohammed.
and also we have Taoism which was founded by Laotsu or Lip Poyang. so all the religion's in the world but why do you choose to become a Christian? so if someone ask you this question, how are you going to answer?
So in this lecture' we're going to share with you several reasons that you can pop out to convince any body who might ask you why you are a Christian today, so that the person can see the reason why you're not following his path but you end up in the Christian faith.
Now we are going to examine four great evidence's or four great reasons why Christianity is the only way to God or Christianity is the true path to God.
In part one of this lecture we are going to examine one of this reasons, so I will like you to take your Bible, Jotter and your pen so that you can write down all the points and quotation's that will be advanced in this section of our studies so that you can crosscheck it all to see that whatever that we are advancing here is not something which we have fabricate but rather something which is clearly stipulated in the Bible and the Qur'an.

WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ISLAM SERIES

ISLAM IS AN ANTI CHRISTIAN RELIGION-PART 1
INTRODUCTION
A great misconception reigning in the mind of many Christians is that Christianity and Islam are essentially the same religion.These Christians aver that Christians worship God through Jesus whiles Muslims worship God through Muhammad.But this view is a far cry from realities on the ground.Let’s examine some of these realities.
A.ISLAM DENIES THE DIVINE SONSHIP OF CHRIST
“The Jews call Uzayr a son of God and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: How they are deluded away from the Truth…”- Surah 9:30.

“Christ the son of Mary was no more than a Messenger…”-Surah 5:75.
“It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son…”- Surah 19:35

B.THIS DENIAL CONTRADICTS CHRISTIANITY

It is very clear from the Qur’an passages that the Sonship of Christ is denied by Islam. Christians are even cursed by the God of the Qur’an for calling Jesus as God’s son. In Islam, the position of Jesus is that of a mere human rasul or Prophet. However this contradicts what the Prophet before Jesus and Jesus himself said in the Bible.

1.GOD HAS A UNIQUE SON
“Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His foots? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name and what is His son’s name, if you know”- Pro. 30:4.

2.THE MESSIAH WILL BE THAT UNIQUE SON

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a SON is given: and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” - Isaiah 9:6.

3. JESUS SAID HE IS THAT UNIQUE SON
“…Again the high priest asked Him saying to Him, “Are you the Christ, the son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am…”-Mark 14:61-62.

“Do you say of Him whom the father sanctified and sent into the world, you are blaspheming, because I said I AM THE SON OF GOD”- John 10:36.

CONCLUSION

The Qur’an denies Jesus divine sonship and presents him as just a mere Prophet. But as is clearly demonstrated, Jesus himself claimed to be the divine eternal SON of Yahweh God. Jesus’ divine sonship is the heart of Christianity for the Christian Church is founded or built on this rock-like truth (Matt. 16:13-18). Christianity teaches that Jesus is a Prophet but he is not only that. That position is only one of His offices. Jesus is a king, the Messiah, our high priest, God’s son etc.

Ask Allah if there is any truth remaining in the Bible that Christians use. Read it and ask Him to reveal new truth to you that you've never considered before...

The Bible won't hurt you if you are guided by Allah. SURELY but Allah guides whomever He decides, and He knows best the ones (who are) rightly-guided. If Muhammad (saw) called it a light and a guidance, you can too!

May Allah accept our Ibadat and prayers... Ameen
