Hello everyone,
This evening’s Bible study topic is a question that all of us have asked before. *“DOES GOD REALLY CHANGE HIS MIND?”*
We will look at a few case studies on the Bible for context, insight and understanding. Then we will attempt to draw out the doctrine of God’s divine Omnipotent nature, heart and character.
Don’t miss out especially if you have struggled with other questions like:
- Does God lie? Then why did this and this happen?
- When the Bible says “…and God repented… “ what does it mean?
- if God knows all things from beginning to end, why would He change His mind?
I assure you, after this lesson you will get to know and love the Father even more.
One of the anchor scriptures for our case studies can be found in the
Book of Isaiah 38:1–5 and Second Book of Kings 20:1–6, which described what happened with the king Hezekiah when he fell sick and God sent the prophet Isaiah to him.
Many people including myself, have stood on these scripture and stories to pray certain prayers, but hopefully. today we will see a different twist and dimension to it.
Now I know more so I’ll know how to pray with such a scripture.
