How will you feel as a parent if your children constantly and intentionally do the opposite of your command?

God commanded us in his word to seek first his Kingdom and it righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto us. But we chose to do the opposite by putting all our energy in running and going after things that are just " tips, handouts, perishables".

Things that can only satisfy our physical and not our spiritual, we all know that it is the spiritual that controls the physical.
So as we pay little or no attention to the spiritual, we will certainly lack direction in our physical space.
Let go back to our God and seek his kingdom and it righteousness which is spiritual, to be aligned with God who is spirit. It is only by this that God will see us as an obedient child.

An obedient child is always the favorite of his or her parents. The parents takes delight in the child, and they shower him with all that he or she needs to make his or her physical space enjoyable.

Beloved obedience is better than sacrifice, every sacrifice done outside of obedience is a complete waste of time.

Think about it!!

Jesus Christ made a categorical statement in John 18:12, that he is the light of the world and that, whosoever follows him shall not walk in darkness,but shall have the light of life .
What this means is that, the day you accepted Jesus Christ into your life and you made up your mind to follow him, His light which represents his "RIGHTEOUSNESS" is imputed in you.
Therefore you no longer walk in darkness which represents "SIN" because you now have the righteousness of Christ which is His light in you.
Having his light makes you a bona-fide possessor of the light. Possession comes with a responsibility, and Jesus Christ the source of our light expects us to use the light we've got to draw others to him.
Jesus knew, the light we had was not ordinary and he knew he is not going to remain on earth forever. So he admonished us in Matthew 5:14 that we are the light of the world, a city set on the hill cannot be hidden.
So now, the believer has now become full of light. meaning,he no longer walks in darkness but goes about distributing light to all that is in darkness.
This cannot be ordinary, we are more than what we think we are, Therefore we must know who we are and what we have in Christ Jesus.
This will enable us to brighten the corner where we are, and also attract many more into the marvelous light of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Note: You are not just a light but a whole city set on a hill that can not be hidden. A city is made up of all manner of people, the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, soo on and soo forth.
But the beauty of it is that, they are all drawn to the great and marvelous light for transformation, when they are transformed into light, then, the transformational agenda of Jesus is on course.
The believer is an agent of his transformational agenda, let's get to work now. SHINE ON FELLOW AGENT.

Luke 5:32 reads; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Jesus Christ is still calling us to repentance Now that we have breath within us. Tomorrow is not promised, the future is full of mysteries that no flesh can unravel. Therefore we should not procrastinate in making that firm choice, by opening up the doors of our heart to the saviour.

His Love for us is pure, genuine true and trust worthy. his plan for us is to reconcile us to the father and to our lost glory.

All you need to do is "A B C D"
(A) ADMIT:
We have to first of all ADMIT that we are sinners, and that Christ shared his undefiled blood on the cross of Calvary for our sake

(B) BELIEVE :
We have to BELIEVE in his conception, birth, death resurrection and second coming.

(C) CONFESS:
We have to CONFESS him as our Lord and personal saviour and also CONFESS him before men.

(D) DEPENDENT:
We must be DEPENDENT on him, be DEPENDENT on his ways for his righteousness to be imputed in us.

TRUST JESUS, AND HE WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU!!!!

Any believer of Jesus Christ that feels ashamed to tell others about Jesus Christ, is just a partial believer . partiality can not be found in the kingdom of our most high God. Therefore we must all endeavour to at least get to the level where we can boldly say, " we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ ". That's the kind of believers God is looking for. I BELIEVE WE CAN, AMEN.
