5. DIPLOMA OF MINISTERIAL DEVELOPMENT ACADEMIC PROGRAM COURSE LISTING (4 MONTHS DURATION)
A. BIBLE INTRODUCTION - This course follows the path from God’s mouth to HIS written WORD, discovering how it got from there to here, and from then to now. Students learn about the writers, proofs of inspiration, supposed contradictions, and many more
B. SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY (NEW BIRTH & ONENESS OF GOD) - This Course explores the Bible plan of Salvation as recorded in ACTS of the Apostles. An explanation of repentance, Baptism by immersion in Jesus name, and in filling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, church history, the nature of the one true God and the revelation of God’s name from Genesis to Revelation. It concludes that God is one with no distinction of persons, showing us that Jesus Christ is the express image of the invisible God
C. MINISTERIAL ETHICS, PASTORAL DUTIES, FAMILY LIFE & CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING- This course explains the Minister’s relationship and character toward himself, God and others.
D. EVANGELISM / CHURCH PLANTING / MISSIONS / CHURCH GROWTH- This course exposes the need for evangelism and motivates the student toward meeting that need. It teaches the Biblical way of extending the Gospel is by planting churches, and also asserts the great Commission,
E. BIBLE PROPHECY (DANIEL & REVELATION) - It gives clearer understanding of what is to come. This course examines the books of Daniel and Revelation, unfolding future events hidden within the pages of God’s word.
F. TABERNACLE - This course draws the student closer to God’s heart as it gives a clear understanding of how the Tabernacle, with all it’s specific instructions and patterns for Israel, gives a well defined picture of Gods plan for Worship & Obedience
G. CHURCH HISTORY/ SPIRITUAL GIFTS & PENTECOSTAL HISTORY- This course is designed to acquaint students with the history of God’s church beginning at Pentecostal and continuing to the latter rain outpouring. To articulate a Biblical theology of Service gifts, ministerial office gifts, along with the supernatural spiritual gifts and showing their proper function within the church today. It also gives students values to pass from generation to generation. This course looks at the Biblical practices and doctrines at the early Pentecostal church which originated in Jerusalem.
H. HOMILETICS & HERMENEUTICS - This course gives a clear understanding of the basic principles of preaching, communicating the Christian message and assisting others in hearing from God. Practical matters of sermon preparation will be studied along with a variety of preaching vehicles used. It also provides an overview and study into basic biblical interpretation, dispensational pattern of scripture, and teaches students how to rightly divide the word of truth.
I. PRAYER MINISTRIES & PRINCIPLES OF HOLINESS- This course outlines the principles for effective communication with God through prayer and fasting. It also offers Biblical guidelines for daily life through the power of the Holy Spirit
J. LIFE OF CHRIST & ACTS - This course helps students to understand the sequential progression and spiritual significance of events in Christ’s life. It also relates the continuing ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ in the world through the Holy Spirit and specifically looks at the Ministry of Peter in Acts 2-12.
