𝗞𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗺 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹

The Kwesimintsim Circuit Guild in the Sekondi Diocese, as part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations, donated some items to the Kwesimintsim Government Hospital on Saturday, 22nd August 2026.

The items, worth GH₵8,500, included surgical gloves, tissue papers, liquid soap, sanitisers, mop buckets and sticks, bottled water, detergents, branded bed sheets and pillowcases, among others.

Led by the Circuit Chaplain, Rev. Justice Korankye; the Circuit Chairman, Bro. James A. Fenyin; the Past Diocesan Secretary, Bro. Gabriel Quaicoe; and a Council Member, Bro. I. D. Buabin, the Guild wholeheartedly presented the items to the hospital.

Madam Mercy Ankrah, a senior nurse, gladly received the items on behalf of the hospital. She expressed profound gratitude for such a kind gesture.

🅥🅘🅓🅔🅞: 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗶

Kumasi Area Ambassador, Sis. Beatrice Antwi Agyei, and Nsima Circuit Guild Chaplain, Very Rev. Cosmos Kabaya (who stood in for Very Rev. Samuel Dontoh), led a delegation from both the Kumasi and Kumasi North Dioceses to visit the family of the late Bro. Stephen Boateng, Esq., popularly known as Kessben.

Kumasi Diocesan Guild Chairman, Bro. Tony Agyemang Badu, and Bro. Eric Essuming, joined the Ambassador, together with their executives and some members, to commiserate with the bereaved family at his residence at Ridge Park, Danyame.

Kessben, a Connexional Patron, passed on a few days ago, hence the decision to visit the family, share some words of encouragement, and pray for them.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱, 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝟰𝟯-𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗩 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵

The Calvary Society Guild, Abura, in the Cape Coast Diocese of the Methodist Church, has successfully inducted a new set of executives to steer the affairs of the organisation for the next three years. The induction formed part of activities marking the Society's 8th Anniversary celebration.

The event, held on Sunday, 23rd August 2026, saw the Society's Guild climax the anniversary celebration with the donation of a flat-screen television set to the church to support its media work.

The newly elected officers include Sis. Millicent Tawiah as Chairman, Sis. Gloria Mensah as Secretary, Sis. Vivian Darko as Immediate Past Chairman, and Sis. Salomey Anderson as Assistant Secretary.

Also inducted were Sis. Patricia Yaa Quaidoo as Treasurer, Sis. Mavis Bubin as Organiser, and Sis. Felicia Korankye as Evangelism Coordinator.

The new executives were charged to give their best towards the growth and success of the Guild, and were reminded to uphold godly principles as they lead the organisation over the next three years.

The anniversary drew clergy from within the Diocese, including Rev. Chief Inspector Felix Kwegyir Mensah and Rev. George Quarshie, who joined the congregation to witness the induction and celebrate the milestone with the Society.

Present also were Diocesan officers, among them Bro. Nathaniel Amoah, Chairman; Bro. Joseph Odoom Nyarkoh, Vice Chairman; and Bro. William Awotwe Erskine, Past Diocesan Vice Chairman.

Speaking on behalf of the Diocesan executives, Bro. Nathaniel Amoah congratulated the Society on the donation and charged the newly inducted officers to work with diligence and commitment, urging them not to relent in their efforts to move the Guild forward.

𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝟱𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗮

A strong delegation of the Methodist Guild Ghana attended the Formal Opening of the 52nd Conference of the Methodist Church Ghana held on Wednesday, 19th August, 2026, at the St. Paul Cathedral, Community 1, in Tema.

The delegation was made up of Connexional, Diocesan, Circuit and Society officers. They included Very Rev. Christopher Attah Cudjoe (Connexional Chaplain), Bro. Benjamin Fiifi Graham (Connexional Secretary), and Sis. Esther Armoo (Connexional Assistant Secretary).

Also present were Bro. Jonathan Bassaw (Past Connexional Chairman), Sis. Kate Appeanti (Tema Diocesan Chairman), Sis. Felicia Baisie-Wilson (Tema Diocesan Vice Chairman), and some members of the Tema Diocesan Guild.

The Methodist Church is currently holding its 52nd Conference in the Tema Diocese. It commenced on Monday, 17th August, 2026, with a Memorial Service held on Tuesday for the departed brethren to serve as a precursor to the official opening of the conference.

It is expected to come to a close on Sunday, when an ordination service will be held for some ministers.
