FINAL MESSAGE || POWER TO EXCEL 2026 || GRAND FINALE

TOPIC: Power to Excel (Part III)

Psalm 57 | Acts 1:7-8 | Daniel 11:32 | 1 Peter 2:9

The national coordinator gave us the final message of Day 2. The message brought a powerful reminder that as God’s chosen people, we are called to live lives of purpose, impact, and excellence.

We were reminded that God has not chosen us to fail but to excel. As believers, we carry a divine assignment, and our lives must reflect God’s purpose and glory. We are not meant to walk through life aimlessly or live below the standard God has prepared for us.

Key Lessons from the Message

We have been chosen for a purpose.
God has a divine plan for every believer. We are instruments in His hands, called to fulfill His purpose in our generation.

True success is found in Christ.
The story of the prodigal son reminds us that pursuing success apart from God ultimately leads to emptiness. Lasting success can only be achieved when Christ remains at the center of our lives.

📖 John 15:4-5 teaches us that without Him, we can do nothing.

Do not leave God out of your pursuits.
Whether it is your marriage, education, career, ministry, business, or personal development, God must remain your foundation. Success without God is a dangerous trade that can cost far more than it gains.

Excellence requires discipline and character.
Great achievements are not accidental. They are built through commitment, diligence, self-control, and a life surrendered to God.

Spiritual success comes first.
Before pursuing any other form of success, we must ensure that our relationship with God is intact. The message challenged us to examine our lives and make our salvation a priority.

Our Response

✅ Remain connected to Christ in all things.

✅ Pursue success God’s way, not the world’s way.

✅ Develop discipline, godly character, and consistency.

✅ Refuse to trade your soul for temporary pleasures.

✅ Live intentionally and fulfill God’s purpose for your life.

✅ If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, make that decision today.

The message concluded with a call for every youth to rise above mediocrity and embrace the power God has made available to excel spiritually, academically, professionally, and in every area of life.

🔥 You are chosen by God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and destined to excel. Walk in your divine assignment and let your life bring glory to God.

HYMNS SESSION || POWER TO EXCEL 2026 || GRAND FINALE

Hymn 263: Higher Ground

“I’m pressing on the upward way, new heights I’m gaining every day…”

As the congregation lifted their voices in worship through the Hymn, we were reminded that the Christian journey is a continual pursuit of spiritual growth, excellence, and a deeper walk with God.

The hymn challenged us not to settle for mediocrity or remain where doubts, fears, and distractions abound, but to keep pressing forward toward greater heights in Christ.

Just as the theme of the Youth Program, Power to Excel, calls us to pursue purpose and success, this hymn encouraged us to seek a higher level of faith, character, and commitment to God.

Our prayer today:

“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

May God grant us the grace to rise above limitations and move forward into the purpose He has prepared for us.

THIRD MESSAGE || POWER TO EXCEL 2026 || GRAND FINALE

TOPIC : Created to Succeed

Jeremiah 29:11 | Psalm 75:6-7 | Joshua 1:8 | Genesis 1:28

The third message of Day 2 reminded us of a powerful truth: we were created by God to succeed.

Before we were born, God already had a plan and purpose for our lives. Our existence is not an accident, and as long as we are alive, God still has a program for us to fulfill. His desire is for us to grow, excel, and become all He created us to be.

Key Lessons from the Message

Success begins with understanding God’s purpose for your life.
God created every individual with unique gifts, talents, and opportunities. To realize our full potential, we must remain focused on our God-given goals and assignment.

Make the most of your gifts and opportunities.
We were encouraged not to waste the talents God has given us but to develop them for His glory and the benefit of others.

Do not leave God out of your plans.
In everything we do, we must seek God’s direction and wisdom. True success is not merely about achievement but about fulfilling God’s purpose.

Our Response

✅ Do your best in whatever you do.

✅ Do not compare yourself with others—be yourself.

✅ If you are not doing anything productive, start something today.

✅ Refuse to be idle.

✅ Pursue your dreams with determination and give them your best effort.

✅ If you experience failure, rise again and keep moving forward.

We were reminded that setbacks are not the end of the journey. Every successful person has faced obstacles, but persistence and faith separate those who quit from those who excel.

God has created you with purpose, equipped you with gifts, and destined you for impact. Therefore, rise up, maximize your potential, and pursue excellence in all that you do.

You were not created to fail. You were created to succeed!

SECOND MESSAGE || POWER TO EXCEL 2026 || GRAND FINALE

TOPIC: No Price Is Too High for Your Dream

Genesis 37:1–3, 5–10

The final day of our National Youth Program challenged us to take a serious look at our lives, dreams, purpose, and destiny.

We were reminded that every great dream comes with a price. Whether your calling is in God’s kingdom or in your chosen profession, there will always be sacrifices, challenges, discipline, and perseverance required to get there.

Joseph’s dream did not come to pass without trials. Before the palace came the pit, slavery, and prison. Yet he remained focused on God’s purpose for his life.

Key Lessons from the Message:

✅ Do you know your calling?

✅ Have you discovered your purpose for which you were created?

✅ Do you understand who you are? If you cannot define yourself, the world will define you.

✅ What is your vision for life?

✅ What practical steps are you taking to actualize your dream?

We also learned that many young people desire success but are unwilling to pay the price required to achieve it. True excellence demands commitment, sacrifice, consistency, and hard work.

“There is no champion without a challenge.”

We were encouraged not to allow our background to keep us grounded, nor permit distractions to derail us from our God-given purpose.

📖 Psalm 23:4-5 reminds us that before the table of abundance comes the valley. Every successful journey has seasons of testing, but those who endure will eventually excel.

As youths, we must not go through life with a casual attitude. We must pursue our dreams, purpose, and calling with seriousness, determination, and faith in God.

‼️Whatever you must do to get there, remember: No price is too high for your dream.

CENTRAL YOUTH CHOIR MINISTRATION || YOUTH PROGRAM 2026 || POWER TO EXCEL || GRAND FINALE

The choir ministration was a powerful call to spiritual awakening and self-examination. Through the songs "How Is Your Inner Man" and "I've Got the Power to Excel," the congregation was encouraged to look beyond outward appearances and consider the true state of their relationship with God.

The songs emphasized the importance of building a strong inner man, remaining awake to righteousness, and walking in the confidence of God's power. As the choir ministered, hearts were stirred to pursue spiritual growth and embrace the grace and strength available in Christ.

FIRST MESSAGE || GRAND FINALE
TOPIC: Awake To Righteousness
1 Corinthians 15:34, Proverbs 14:34, Matthew 24:15, job 8:6, Romans 13:11-14

The word “awake” means to be prepared and ready for action. Therefore, the phrase “awake to righteousness” means being prepared and ready at all times to choose righteousness, regardless of the circumstances in which we find ourselves.

Many believers today are not awake to righteousness. They do not make the issue of righteousness a priority in their life.
Some young people hold the view that righteousness is reserved for later life, believing that youth should be spent on enjoyment and that they can always repent later. Because of this mindset, many drift away from God's will, their prayers go unanswered, and they miss the wonderful blessings and plans God has in store for them. Isaiah 59:1-2

Let us all awake to righteousness, and let the consciousness of righteousness always be in us in order to conquer the generation we are in and to excel in all aspects of our life.

Points to Consider
1. Reasons and the dangers of neglect
2. Our expected response and effect

Point 1
Reasons to live righteously:
1. We must live righteously in order for the power to excel to come upon us.
2. Righteousness breaks yokes
3. Righteousness opens doors
4. Many blessings accompanies righteousness
5. Righteousness leads us to everlasting life (Matthew 25:46)

Dangers of not living righteously
1. Unrighteousness hinders prayers (Jeremiah 5:25-26)
2. Unrighteousness destroys our destiny
3. Unrighteousness cuts favor
4. Unrighteousness makes us susceptible to the attacks of the enemy
5. Unrighteousness dries our glory
6. Unrighteousness puts us in perpetual problems
7. Unrighteousness leads to everlasting punishment

Point 2
John 10:10a, Ephesians 4:2
God has given us an order to awake to righteousness. Our response is to change our lifestyle and check ourselves for any atom of sin in us and pray for the Lord to deliver us from them. In conjunction, let us all do everything we can to avoid situations that prompts us to commit sin.
We must also understand that righteousness comes with rules. Anything done against these rules is considered a sin. So let us ensure that our righteousness meets the standards of God, and the Lord would give us the power to excel.
