Yesterday after Hailala and Salat Maghrib in Koforidua Eastern Region of Ghana, Zawiyatou Cheikh Ibrahima Niasse Pipeline.

We started the recitation of the noble Quran when the rain 🌧️ started . We all taught to ask permission from Her Eminence to take Her inside but she insisted until the Khatm of the Quran is recited we not leaving the field.

This act is a tradition ( Sunnah) of Sayidna Rasuulullah ﷺ. Indeed the Household of Cheikh Islam are leaving by the footsteps of the Sahib Al Faida Cheikh Ibrahima Niasse RTA.

The Prophet ﷺ said

“Two will not be rejected. The Duaa after the Adhan and the Duaa under the rain”.

Al-Hakim (Sahih)

It is mustahabb to expose oneself to the rain and let some of it flow over one’s body, because of the proven report from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: When we were with the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) it rained.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) lifted part of his garment so that the rain could fall on him.

We said: O Messenger of Allah, why did you do that? He said: “Because it has just come from its Lord,

May He be glorified and exalted.” Narrated by Muslim (898).

May Allah grant Her Eminence Shaikha Safiya Ibrahima Niasse RTA with long life , sound and good health and bless us Her blessings Bijaahy Rasuulullahﷺ
