It's that time of the year again!!

Join us make this Easter celebration more about others.
You will recall that at the first Easter, Jesus visited the prisoners in hell. In Matthew 25, He instructed us to also visit prisoners as if He were the one we were visiting in there!

Join us to make this visit and provision special for the child prisoners at the Senior Correctional Centre, Dzorwulu, Accra, Ghana.

Also find attached a picture from one of our last outreaches furing which in conjunction with Bible Society Ghana, we gifted the inmates with Bibles, a commodity that had apparently become rare in the prison then.

God bless you!

Happy Easter!

Jesus died for you. When you participate in His death, you become released from the restrictions and boredom of routine. Routine activities, laws and regulations though helpful, can also hold a power that prevents us from enjoying life and thus bringing forth some nice fruit that God our Creator and Redeemer would really like to have from us. Jesus died for you so you can bear fruit unto God. Easter is about a gift for your freedom and fruitfulness. Receive the Lord’s gift of an exemplary sacrifice and liberating leadership today.

Happy Easter!

PRAISE GOD FOR HER CANCER SURVIVAL...

So, about a year and a half ago (April 2022), during one of our Footstool Colour online prayer meetings, we prayed from Luke 4:18 asking for God to lead us to the broken, and to demonstrate His power in their lives. And, amazingly, shortly after that, through our friend, Maame Akua Asante-Donkor, Medical delegate at Nestlé Ghana Limited, the Lord connected us to Madam Georgina Wulego Ametepey, who happened to have been diagnosed with breast cancer a while back, but had defaulted over a year on the chemotherapy she had once began on account of the discomfort from hair loss, pain, financial constraints and discouragement. She no longer cared about the worst and decided to stop going to the hospital altogether, prepared for "whatever". Through our ministry's WholeHealth Mission counselling sessions, group therapy, prayer and financial support, Madam Gina was again convinced, hopeful and encouraged to back onto the cancer treatment regime at the Korle- Bu Teaching hospital where she initially defaulted.

Though distraught by her other domestic setbacks, she complied with our medical directives and faithfully restarted her neo-adjuvant chemotherapy, underwent surgery duly and and is now almost through with post-surgery chemotherapy.

Our team was absolutely elated to get to celebrate her journey and cancer survival on the 18th of November, 2023 when we pulled a Surprise soirée on her at Papa's Pizza, Dansoman. She was extremely excited. Remarkably, Georgina testified of God's goodness to her, reminiscing how that, recently, a lady who lived just opposite her house had died from the same diagnosis with albeit worse outcomes including paralysis due to bone metastases. We all testified to the grace of God in sparing her life and enabling prompt resumption of her hitherto defaulted treatment. Together with her family, Georgina joined Dr Anastasia Bruce in Thanksgiving at the Qodesh Family Church, North Kaneshie, Accra on 26th November, 2023 during the church's Swollen Sunday celebration themed, " Come with Your Burdens". How beautiful!

Madam Gina is not only grateful to God and for Footstool Colour's support in walking hand-in- hand with her on almost 2 years' journey to being cancer free, but also for giving her the opportunity to improve on her relationship with God and her family as well as connect with other survivors and lovers of God, reaching out to others and sharing her faith and love on our ministry outreaches.

She continues to finish her final stages of therapy and is hopeful of picking her ministry and career back up with much more gratitude and love for Her Maker and others.

Now this is how we celebrated our recent Pink October at Footstool Colour.

To God be the glory.

OPEN DOORS FOR MY HEART DESIRES!
Live Daily Footstool Devotional
Tuesday, 28th November, 2023.

Read Psalm 27

Psalm 27:3
Though an army besiege me, MY HEART WILL NOT FEAR!

The enemy wants your heart to fear. The enemy wants your heart to stop. The enemy wants your heart to fail. The enemy desires to put an end to the expression of your heart's desires, wishes and dreams. The moment you start giving in to fear, you lose the power that your heart requires to beat, pump and go on and on and on. The moment you lose your shield of faith and your breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:10ff), you expose your heart to many fiery darts and poisonous arrows of the evil one. Don't allow your heart to be overcome by any daunting Goliath that stands in your face. Instead, be like David and put your faith to work. Activate every good thing that you know in Christ Jesus and let your faith become effectual and powerful through watchful ness and continuous prayer.

Philemon 1:6 KJV - That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:7 AMP - For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

You can know that the power of the Holy Spirit is in your life when you find that you are able to make the choice for and pray at the times that you feel afraid, overcome, ashamed, tired, weak, defenceless, broke, poor, helpless, sad, ugly, rejected, abused, discontent and simply discouraged. Choose to pray if you wanna become powerful in expressing your heart's desires for Jesus everywhere. Choose to be a person of prayer if your life is gonna be an admirable one, attracting others to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of power for prayer.

It's time to become powerful. It's time to let the devil know that you serve The Living God. Refuse to be a chicken, living small and hiding your light. Don't let your heart stop. Don't let your heart fail. If your heart beats for Jesus, let the whole world get to know that! If your heart beats for sports, shine the light! If your heart beats for beautiful surroundings, don't hide it. Don't let the intimidated steal the show your life was sent here to display! Shine the light your were born to testify to. If your heart beats for love and great human relationships, let the world know it all. Let all your hearts desires come to see the light of day so long as you are alive. Don't stop trying to shine because the army of enemies surrounding you are many. The Bible says, " though an army vestige me, my HEART WILL NOT FEAR!"

2 Kings 6:16 AMP - Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

Matthew 5:16 AMP - Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Whatever stops your heart from getting opportunities to express its deepest desires of unique ways to serve God, may they be taken away in Jesus name.
Away with all the heart attacks, peptic ulcer disease, reflux disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, lung diseases, breast diseases and all that attacks the very central parts of your being in Jesus name.

May nothing succeed in intimidating you so you stop attempting to do God's will for your life and generation. May your fear be for only the Lord. May you win over every attempt of the enemy to throw you out of the church. May you succeed over anything that stops you from going into all the world to shine Christ's light. May your light be from the Lord and may your light bring you salvation in Jesus name. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thanks for your Word. Please help me. I want to shine your light both in the temple and in the world, and in fact everywhere you send me to, because You are my light and my salvation. Though an army will come at me from anywhere and everywhere, kindly grant me the grace so that my heart will not fear. As you grant me this heart desire, I declare victory over every heart attack, arrhythmia, heart failure and any heart disease in Jesus name. Amen.

RETURN, RETURN, O SHULAMITE
Desiring Mercy Devotional

Wednesday, 12th July, 2023

Read Song of Solomon 6:1-13

Song of Solomon 6:13 KJV - RETURN, RETURN, O SHULAMITE; RETURN, RETURN, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of TWO ARMIES.

Your strength lies in your ability to restrain yourself from ever going too far with anything. A person of great strength is a person who is able to restrain himself or herself. Getting angry excessively without ability to tame your own self shows how weak you are. Getting carried away by foolish fantasies without an inward ability to wake up and be sensible is a sign of a lack of personal constraint.
Galatians 5:22 The Voice: The Holy Spirit produces a different kind of fruit...self-control.
God wants us to become a people who always have the ability to RETURN to the truth no matter how tempted we are to follow after foolishness, or however attracted we get to leaps and bounds of anger or pride.
No matter how much something makes you angry, may you always find it within your heart to return to the cross. The nails that pin us to the cross are only a merciful intervention to prevent us from ever going too far with ourselves in how we handle people or situations. We should always be able to RETURN to the cross or whatever crucifies us and tames us.
Galatians 5:24 Voice - Those of us who belong to the Anointed One have crucified our old lives and put to death the flesh and all the lusts and desires that plague us.
But in His mercy, God does not want us pinned to the cross all the time; He only wishes it for us on the day and at the time that we need it the most, ie the day or moment when sin and foolishness abound in our hearts. In His mercy, God releases us from the cross to RETURN to regions of “boundless” freedom so we can enjoy all good things out there and not feel restricted- regions in which the dangers of going too far with ourselves lie real indeed- yet He can trust to release His own to go “ far” when He knows the tree/ cross is truly planted within their heart.
Shall the free Shulamite return to her beloved whose hair reminds her of flocks of goats, and whose teeth remind her of a flock of sheep which go up from the washing? Shall she be overcome by the eyes which display such visions of hardwork in the farms? ( Song of Solomon 6:5,6). Or shall she only be enticed by that which takes her far away from goats and sheep, spices and pomegranates and lilies and all that ever has to do with her hands in the soil?
Nothing should ever take us too far from ever repenting and returning back to humility. And nothing should ever keep us so humble that we begin to descend into degradation, obscurity and obscenity- re should be able to return up!
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word. Please make me a Shulamite who returns and returns again and again. Give me a humble heart no matter how many reasons I ever have for my pride. And give me something that makes me proud so that I never have to be too stuck with what makes me humble to the extent that I lose myself or my dignity. Grant me the blessing of becoming a person with these two strengths, and be like one with the company of two armies, able to fight excessive pride and able to fight excessive humility, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

LITTLE STRENGTH
Live Daily Footstool Devotional

Monday, 10th July, 2023

Read Revelation 3:7-13
Revelation 3:8-9 KJV - 8 I KNOW THY WORKS: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast A LITTLE STRENGTH, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

You know, when God says He’s going to bless you, it does not mean He’s expecting you to go out there and look for that big thing and that other impressive thing to start doing by yourself so that you start having an appearance of a blessing in the eyes of all. A great door of blessing will not come to you just because you have money to pay your way through the visa station, or powerful clothes to impress your interviewers as you seek a job. When God decides to open a door for you, it is very linked to your obedience to His instructions. It your little obedience to His instructions that will lead you the open door He has for you. God is not looking for people who have mighty Bank accounts or some fantastic human connections or great family backgrounds so that He will present to them an open door of blessing. He will do so for people who are faithful with the work of God just with the little strength that they have.
What is your little strength?
Revelation 3:8 KJV - for thou hast a little strength, and HAST KEPT MY WORD, and HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME.
You may not have so much strength to do many wild things in the ministry, or at your job place, or in your own life or family. You may not have so much faith or strength of character or individuality to attempt doing all sorts of sophisticated things in your service of God, though you may have loved to. It is good to genuinely acknowledge your limitations as to how much you can expend in your attempt to do the work of God. The most basic form of strength you can possess as a Christian to do the work of God is your strength in steadfastly keeping the Word of the Lord and not denying His name wherever you find yourself. I mean, no matter how thin your muscle power is, you can always afford to show this kind of strength in doing God’s work- keeping a word or a charge He has given you, and not denying His name.
What instruction has God given you before? How well do you keep it? If you cannot steadfastly keep charges that the Lord or your pastor or leader has given you before, then your little strength in attempting God’s work is little indeed. But we must endeavour to protect our “ little strength” because that is about all we have when it comes to how much we can offer God. People go to all sorts of extents in their faith and attempts to please God- people pray so much more and longer than you do, give bigger offerings, and do many more deeper things to have wilder experiences with God than you get to. But if all you’ve got is the little strength to keep God’s Word and not deny His name, then keep His charges to you with all excellence and the highest fidelity and don’t ever miss an opportunity to acknowledge His name. Protect your little strength and strengthen it.
Often ask yourself, what has God asked me to do? Am I doing it? Am I sanctifying His name in my life? Or am I postponing and procrastinating all His assignments to me ? Your little strength is your ability to keep His Word and not deny His name. If you trivialise your little strength, you will actually be trivialising the everlasting blessing of an open door for you that cannot be shut by anyone else.
Revelation 3:10 KJV - Because THOU HAST KEPT THE WORD of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE...
Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me strengthen my little strength. Help me keep every command and instruction you give and have ever given to me before. Help me not to deny your name ever. Please help me protect my little strength, so that my due blessings will not elude me in Jesus name. Amen.
Live.
