Text: 📖Matthew 14:22-33
Topic: It is I; be not afraid”
THE MESSAGE:
📖 Matthew 14:27➡️ “But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
🔴The greatest and commonest demon on earth is Fear. Fear is a spirit. It paralysis the thought and poisons the mind.
🔴Fear is running away from something that is not running after you. Fear of the future is actually a waste of the present. Fear is a universal disease; it is a great killer.
🔴Fear is the direct opposite of fear. It plays into the hands of the enemy. Fear sees what man sees and not what God sees.
📖 2 Timothy 1:7 – “ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
🔴There are many bad things that fear has done but one powerful one is in 📖1 John 4:18 – “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
🔴Fear is a tormentor; it can paralyse God’s power in one’s life. Until you get rid of your fear, great victories will never come.
🔴Fear is a destructive weapon in the hand of the enemy. The secret is this; the devil does not fear the man who does not fear.
🔴Fear makes man believe the worst. Fear makes us anxious, tensed and irritating.
🔴Babies’ fear is in two forms; the fear of loud noise and the fear of falling down. This is because of the womb they were before is quiet and the experience at birth when they fell from their womb.
🔴The devil cannot operate without fear; he will plant fear in your mind and start operating from there.
🔴Fear should not be a natural force; it is not a natural force when you get born again.
May the Lord damage our fears, in Jesus’ name.
There is something known as the circle of fear; the fear that, what happened before may happen again.
KEYS
1. The first thing to do is to surrender your life to Jesus
2. You must repent from every known sin.
3. Be filled with the word of God.
4. Be a prayer warrior.
5. Decide that fear must not reside in your heart.
6. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Any evil progress in my life, hear the word of the Lord, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every battle of Jericho, blocking my blessings, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any power, that wants me to die, shall replace me in the grave, in the name of Jesus
4. Thunder of God; scatter any evil foundation, mocking my prayers, in the name of Jesus.
5. Wicked elders, laughing at my calamities, Lion of Judah, tear them to pieces, in the name of Jesus.
6. Powers that have determined to kill me rather than for me to prosper, O God, release your storm and swallow them, in the name of Jesus.
7. Shrines that swallowed my breakthroughs vomit them now, in the name of Jesus.
8. I fire back, every arrow of infirmity, by the power in the blood of Jesus.
9. Angels of healing, be released upon our nation, in the name of Jesus.
10. Blood of Jesus, disgrace every power of infirmity, in the name of Jesus.
